★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty straight forward experience. When you go there you will see several containers for garbage. One for trash, one for paper and one for plastic. There might or might not be any other people. So just drop your garbage and you are done! Just remember as somebody else mentioned this location is not available on Sundays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist, I tried to do the right thing by placing garbage in the collect point at 8am on Sunday (I didn't realize that no collection services on the day, my host didn't tell me at all). Everything was bagged and categorized separately for recycling purposes. Unfortunately there were 3 very rude local men decided to scream at me. One managed to tell me in English there were no collection services. I then kindly explained that I was leaving the country that day, and I asked what I should do. All three of them decided to scream at me even more, one even decided to leave his apartment and went out of his door to physically intimidate me.
Instead of providing solutions, they basically said they didn't care but I had to leave with my rubbish. All slammed their doors at me.
Venice is such a popular tourist attraction, to have such hostility for a honest mistake, it's truly disappointing to see.
( I ended up taking all garbage with me and carried it with me until my next destination.)
