★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The theatre itself is worth the visit. Very classic looking and neat. We went to watch an orchestral arrangement of the Goldberg Variations. Unfortunately, they butchered it. Still deserves four stars. You must go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Russian Ballet~Nutcracker and Teatro Verdi were amazing! A plus for sure, especially during the Christmas holiday! The arrival with ticket already in hand & entrance were speedy and customer service friendly in all aspects. (WC/RR line a little long, perhaps an attendant to speed things along is a good idea). The guys at the counters wore santa hats..cool! Theatre personnel spoke English + prompt to help and very friendly!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FANTASTIC! What a beautiful old theatre, there was nothing wrong with the bathrooms, they were old, but clean and neat. And who would ruin that beautiful building with an elevator?! Complainers should go somewhere else if you can’t enjoy the beauty of this lovely building and the fantastic Florence Symphony.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant theater in the heart of central Florence, a few steps from the Duomo and Piazza Santa Croce. Courteous staff, refined and peaceful environment. Inside there is a bar and cloakroom service. Unlike other theaters, even the seats in the very first rows allow a good view of shows such as ballets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to go see a modern dance version of "Alice in wonderland". I have never seen a modern dance like that- totally amazing. The Teatro Verdi is an old theatre with boxes and a large stage. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pics of the dancing but there are shows on every week. Really worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to see swan lake and had a lovely time! I removed one star because the show did start half an hour late, with no mention of it even happening. By looking at the space it seemed as if they were waiting to either all the guests to arrive or for all the seats to be sold. The minute all the expensive seats were filled, the show started. Not a very nice move, but in the other hand the ballet was masterful!
