★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a mixed antipasti plate. 20 min later my stomach started rumbling, 40 i was stuck sitting on the toilet. Avoid this place it is not clean. After 5 weeks travelling all over Sicily this is the first place that has given me diarrhoea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place I have been in my 3 weeks in Italy, bad service, not much food and 10% service charge for bad service. You cannot pay with credit card and they don't say it. It is a tourist trap in the market

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Sicilian food for a good price! This is one of the few places in Ballarò Market suitable for vegetarians. We went there for lunch and got the buffet option - 10 euro all you can eat + fruit for dessert. They also have the best cannolo I've tried so far!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly expensive for pretty ordinary food. We had caponata to start then spaghetti with clams and mussels (the shell fish was quite poor) and sea urchin spaghetti. I also had fried baby squid but it was a bit tough. I think there are better places along this street for your money..
