Sinceramente vedendo le cattive recensioni della gente, avevo paura a presentarmi li. Ma in fin dei conti, credo che molte di quelle o siano infondate, oppure largamente gonfiate. Sono andata per il passaporto, e almeno con me, sono stati gentilissimi ed educatissimi; mi sarà andata di fortuna o forse quel giorno erano di luna buona dato che vogliamo sdrammatizzare? Credo che c’entri anche il modo in cui ti poni con certa gente. Sono forze dell’ordine e devono mantenere un certo rigore. Non sono razzisti e nient’altro e di certo non sono tuoi amici, fanno solo il loro dovere per la tua sicurezza.
Honestly seeing people's bad reviews, I was afraid to introduce myself there. But ultimately, I think many of those are either unfounded, or vastly inflated. I went for the passport, and at least with me, they were very kind and very polite; I will be lucky or maybe that day was a good moon since we want to play down? I think the way you deal with certain people also has something to do with it. They are law enforcement agencies and must maintain a certain rigor. They are not racist and nothing else and they are certainly not your friends, they only do their duty for your safety.

Non sapendo da che parte cominciare premetto che il nuovo sistema per il rinnovo dei passaporti mostra molte falle, prima fra tutte la distribuzione dei comuni assegnati ai relativi Commissariati/Questure. Purtroppo il mio comune è sotto la gestione della Questura di Varese. Ho provato a fare richiesta per un rinnovo con urgenza e ho dovuto scontrarmi con un agglomerato di negligenze senza precedenti. In una Questura, dove ci si aspetta di trovare risposte e competenza, più che un servizio ho ricevuto un disservizio. Ho assistito ad un ufficio passaporti che non risponde alle telefonate, ad un centralino con cui è difficile comunicare e che non è al corrente degli orari degli uffici, agli orari degli uffici che non corrispondono a quelli riportati nelle informazioni generali della loro pagina web. Per ricevere assistenza ho dovuto recarmi di persona innumerevoli volte, in ognuna delle quali mi sono state consigliate procedure utili solamente a farmi perdere tempo e non a risolvere il problema. La direzione dell’ufficio passaporti, in particolar modo, si è dimostrata scortese e per nulla incline a cercare una soluzione per la mia richiesta. Tutti atteggiamenti poco consoni a chi riveste un ruolo di autorità. Consiglio a chiunque abbia delle esigenze particolari di mettersi il cuore in pace. Tentare di ricevere assistenza è utile solo a mettere alla prova il proprio autocontrollo.

The officer in information booth was so friendly and nice to all. Though it depends who is in duty the day you visit. Often there is a large que but yet my experience was good.

Not even one star. As a British citizen I couldn't find anyone that was able to help with my request solely because none of the employees speak English....an immigration office that are there to help and they can't even speak or understand...they think that by shouting slowly in Italian you will understand!! only word is pathetic.

No time management. You have appointment and still have to stay in line. Can't believe it's North Italy. One star for a person at the counter for being polite.
