L	Lars Kretschmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine eigentlich schöne Provinzhauptstadt. Verkehrstechnisch aber eine Katastrophe. Die Umweltbilanz für eine Strecke von ca 600m = 6,4 Kilometer weil alles nur Einbahnstraßen sind. Erschwerend kommt noch der Bus hinzu. Mit dem PKW ist es fast das gleiche. Sehenswert sind der sacri Monte, Piazza Della republica nebst Theater, schöne Parkanlagen ,gemütliche italienische Kaffee-Bars. A really beautiful provincial capital. Technically but a disaster. The environmental balance for a distance of about 600m = 6.4 kilometers because everything is just one-way streets. The bus makes things even more difficult. It's almost the same with a car. Worth seeing are the sacri Monte, Piazza Della Republica along with the theater, beautiful parks, cozy Italian coffee bars.

Tiene zonas de auténticas villas a cual más bonitas, y que hablan del poder económico de esta región. Es una ciudad con un centro histórico pequeño, muy coqueto, y una cierta vida nocturna muy localizada, con multitud de locales donde probar cervezas artesanales, o vinos de la región y del mundo. No está mal para hacer una visita. En agosto es difícil para un turista encontrar restaurantes, y recordad que todo se cierra antes que en España. Varese is the capital of the province of the same name, a province full of Lakes and beautiful towns to visit. It has areas of authentic villas which are more beautiful, and that speak of the economic power of this region. It is a city with a small historic center, very charming, and a certain very localized nightlife, with a multitude of places where you can try craft beers, or wines from the region and the world. Not bad for a visit. In August it is difficult for a tourist to find restaurants, and remember that everything closes earlier than in Spain.

Un servizio utilissimo sopratutto in questo momento di grandi lavori di ristrutturazione Se si parte con la professionalità umana così bene organizzata, lascia ben sperare in un opera logistica e di servizi delle nuove stazioni top. Excellent FS customer service on site at the ticket office with staff helping and providing directions quickly and accurately. A very useful service especially at this time of major renovations If you start with such well-organized human professionalism, it bodes well for a logistical and service work of the new top stations.
M	Michele Mezzatesta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione tornata a nuova vita dopo la riapertura della linea verso P.Ceresio e la Svizzera. Pulita, con biglietteria vera ,macchinette distributrici di biglietti funzionanti, bagni puliti anche se a pagamento ( vanno benissimo) , bar pulito ed efficente , indicazioni ovunque , sottopasso riportato a nuovo e ben illuminato. Parcheggio per auto a 2 passi , parcheggio taxi vicino e bus davanti alla Stazione: che volete di piu' ? C'e' anche un posto di Polizia attivo .....Unico neo forse la mancanza di una sala di aspetto.... Brava RFI! Usatela se siete a Varese! Station returned to life after the reopening of the line to P. Ceresio and Switzerland. Clean, with real ticket office, functioning ticket machines, clean bathrooms even if they have to be paid for (they are fine), clean and efficient bar, directions everywhere, underpass brought back to new and well lit. Parking for cars 2 steps away, nearby taxi and bus parking in front of the station: what more do you want? There is also an active police station ..... The only drawback is perhaps the lack of a waiting room .... Brava RFI! Use it if you are in Varese!
O	Omaïma Nouicer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sempre peggio! Arrivi in stazione per fare l'abbonamento e non puoi pagare con la carta perché il sistema non funziona da 2 settimane! Un giorno trovi la biglietteria chiusa, con 20 euro non ti puoi fare un biglietto alla macchinetta e i controllori ti dicono di arrangiarti! Uno di prima mattina deve fare giri, perdere treni ed arrivare in ritardo per cambiare 20 euro, trovare moneta e fare il biglietto! Worse and worse! You arrive at the station to get a season ticket and you can't pay with your card because the system hasn't worked for 2 weeks! One day you find the ticket office closed, with 20 euros you can't get a ticket at the machine and the controllers tell you to make do! Early in the morning, one has to do laps, miss trains and arrive late to change 20 euros, find money and get a ticket!
