★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A natural reserve with nice hiking and biking paths, a huge climbing area. There are a lot of small villages with restaurants and apartments. There is an amazing view over the city of Trieste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The natural beauty of this reserve is beyond words. From several points up on the Draga Sant'Elia side you can see Trieste and the sea on the horizon, it just takes your breath away! Rock climbing, walking and biking trails reaching several little villages on the Slovenia and Italy side where you can stop for a delicious meal and some good wine. The gorge's creek (Rosandra) ends up into a a small lagoon with a breathtaking waterfall. Enjoy your trip!
