Qui si possono trovare bellissimi paesaggi e luoghi artistici ricchi di opere d'arte. Molti paesi della valle hanno dato i natali a molti personaggi famosi. La valle è conosciuta anche per la nascita dei Tasso con la successiva creazione delle poste e la presenza del luogo di nascita, a Oneta di San Giovanni Bianco, della famosa maschera di Arlecchino. Paese ricco di arte è San Pellegrino Terme, città simbolo del Liberty. A monte del territorio si trovano molte piste da sci e molti sentieri percorribili durante le belle giornate bergamasche che fanno parte delle prealpi orobiche. Per gli amanti della natura e della montagna ancora "selvaggia" è un must; purtroppo la penalizza un sistema viario che sostanzialmente si basa su di un unico percorso che attraversa buona parte dei paesi del fondo valle e che quindi risente di rallentamenti e code diventate negli anni leggendarie agli amanti delle escursioni. Tantissimi i punti di interesse: si possono citare San Pellegrino per le sue famose terme e per l'omonima marca di bevande, Averara per la sua favolosa strada porticata sulla quale in secoli lontani passava il commercio verso la Svizzera, Cornello dei Tasso per il suo borgo medievale conservatosi in modo eccellente e sede del Museo dei Tasso inventori del primo sistema postale, e altri borghi come Carona, la già citata Foppolo, San Giovanni Bianco ed altri ancora. Una valle davvero ricca di spunti naturalistici, storici, artistici. Da visitare e da vivere. S	Sandro Cammelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di facile accessibilità offre moltissimo sotto l'aspetto paesaggistico, turistico, culturale ed etnografico.Siamo ai confini delle Alpi Orobie ed il numero e la qualità percepita delle aree protette e dei parchi rende ragione della straordinarietà di un territorio forse ( o per fortuna) un poco trascurato dal turismo o,per lo meno, da quello attratto dalla fama e dalla risonanza di località note ai più. Emblematica la foto che accompagna questa recensione dopo le due già pubblicate: una transumanza di pecore che raggiungeranno presumibilmente pascoli più bassi in attesa della neve.Il gregge occupa per intero la sede stradale e le poche auto si fanno da parte con rispetto.
