β β β β β We received a recommendation from a local, and it seems even the Italians really love this restaurant, but for some reason this pleasure does not reached to me. Not large portions, good flavor, but not dropping and the service ... oh service. Not something that comes easily to the waiters here.

β β β β β Ancient rustic trattoria in Piacenza. They took me to visit this location that from the first glance appeared to me as an old restaurant where you can taste local specialties. The mise en place is simple, but a bowl for drinking wine instead of the classic glass immediately catches the eye. We chose two cutting boards: one with ham and fried polenta, the other with mixed cold cuts from the area, accompanied by a plate of homemade pickles ... Fantastic! As a first course we chose pasta and beans and as a main course a gigantic Milanese cutlet accompanied by baked potatoes and peperonata. To drink local red wine (in the cup) and finally, coffee. I found it all very interesting and, if I were to return to Piacenza, I would return for sure ... (I have memorized the place among my favorites).
