★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Tribunale di Mistretta dopo aver vissuto per decenni animando il paese e la sua economia è stato chiuso in data 14 settembre 2013 per effetto del D.Lgs. 2012/155 e le sue funzioni sono state trasferite al Tribunale di Patti. Nonostante, nel tentativo di recuperare una struttura imponente il Comune vi abbia fatto trasferire gli Uffici del Giudice di Pace, la struttura sembra in stato di totale abbandono, è sporca, disordinata, con stanze aperte e completamente vuote che fungono solo da cimitero per le mosche. Quando la si guarda viene da pensare alle persone che ci lavorano dentro tutta la settimana, compresi i giorni in cui non c'è udienza e il Tribunale è deserto, e queste vagano un po' come fantasmi nei lunghi ballatoi e ci si chiede come si possa far lavorare qualcuno in quelle condizioni.
Piange il cuore a vedere un posto, un Tribunale quale è stato quello di Mistretta, ridotto ad un relitto che oramai non interessa più a nessuno.
 The Court of Mistretta, after having lived for decades animating the town and its economy, was closed on 14 September 2013 due to the effect of Legislative Decree 2012/155 and its functions were transferred to the Court of Patti. Although, in an attempt to recover an imposing structure, the Municipality had the offices of the Justice of the Peace transferred there, the structure seems in a state of total abandonment, it is dirty, messy, with open and completely empty rooms that only serve as a cemetery for flies. . When you look at it you come to think of the people who work there all week, including the days when there is no hearing and the Court is deserted, and they wander a bit like ghosts in the long galleries and wonder how to can make someone work in those conditions.
The heart cries to see a place, a court such as that of Mistretta, reduced to a wreck that no longer interests anyone.
