One of the bigger train stops in Milan. It connects Milan with the northern part of Italy (Como - Lecco - Varese, Novara, etc.). It is also a departure station for Malpensa Express train that takes you in less than 45min to the airport's Terminal 1 (one-way ticket is 12e). It has many useful utilities (WC, restaurants, bars, shops) but in the night it doesn't seem so safe even though there is always some police car nearby. So, for late departures/arrivals, I would suggest fast in&out!

Scandalous. Legalised theft. Bought tickets for milan-malpends. Waved through ticket gates. Got on train, conductor comes round and asks why ticket isn't validated. Thinks we are stupid so shows another passengers validation. We explain no one said we do anything but board train. He rears his nonsense. We tell him to just rip up tickets, they are stamped with time of purchase, but no that would be common sense. I stead we spend 200% more on purchasing tickets again. Complain to useless ticket desk who "can't do anything" apparently. This was nothing more than theft. Do not use trenord, we were told by locals to use the coach transfers that also run from milan central. They were correct

Beware the tourists traps! Ticket agents usually don't react properly to your questions. Sometimes they don't even give you exact changes. Moreover, they never inform you about the validating your tickets, especially those of Malpensa Express, and rip your money off easily on board, saying "all your faults." In many ways, they are incredably good experts in ruining your travel experiences. I recommend you to take other transportation methods, like bus or Uber, if you want to preserve your precious emotional energy and the good impressions of Italy.

The company is the worst, trains are always in delay or cancelled, in a bad condition, insecure and overcrowded. The only reason they get any stars at all is for the customer service at Cadorna station - they were great every time I went there. Thanks.

Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs! Train was running 40+ minutes late from Malpensa airport and we had to buy bus tickets. Apperantly even when the train is late ticket are not refundable. Also the most rude customer service I've experienced. Stay away from Trenord if you dont want to loose your precious time and money.

The refund policy is one of the worst ever seen. You have only 7 days after the travel date. You cannot do it online but have to fill pdfs. Their strike came to the worst possible moment, so unreliable.
