★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tre Cristi is a lovely looking restaurant and the service was very good, but I was very disappointed in the food. The tagliatelle with boar sauce was not al dente nor was the pasta hot (I saw a pasta dish for another table come out piping hot); the boar itself was tasty. I also ordered the monkfish wrapped in lardo with a leek puree. While the dish sounded great on the menu, I didn't quite understand it when it was presented to me. The puree and crispness of the lardo were washed away by a broth that was really too salty to eat and I love salt. For me, it wasn't worth it to go, especially for the price. Other parties seemed to be enjoying themselves quite a bit thouh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had hundreds of meals in Italy and this was the worst one ever, before this I have never had a really bad one.
The service was very poor and the food was tasteless and tiny portions.
To make it worse I am feeling sick the next day which I never do.
This place came highly recommend, something serious must have changed recently.
There are many great restaurants in Siena, avoid this one

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a dinner with work colleagues, we were a lot and with a fixed menu so this review might not be accurate for regular dinners.
The food was OK, nothing too fancy but overall decent quality. I got the meat-based menu however and I was told the fish menu was slightly better. Service was fine and they kept filling our glasses on time which was both good and dangerous. Unfortunately the portions were very small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it is a Michelin recommandation we were quite disappointed. Service ok but not very warm. Our courses were both too salty and the desert (creme brulee) was ridiculously small. Overpriced for what we ate.
