Entrare e provare i piatti del giorno è una gioia del palato il menù alla carta è completo e non tradisce mai ottimi i dolci proprietari affabilissimi cameriere Salvatore gentile ed educato prezzi nella norma. Che dire se non siete ancora venuti a provare la Serra non attendete ulteriormente!
Long-time customer of this beautiful restaurant with an enviable fish menu with exceptional care and attention to raw materials. Going in and trying the dishes of the day is a joy for the palate the à la carte menu is complete and never betrays excellent sweet owners, very affable waiter Salvatore, kind and polite prices in the norm. What can I say if you have not yet come to try the Serra do not wait any longer!

Cucina tipica di pesce. Partiamo da quello: è fresco e lo sanno preparare nella sua semplicità.
Già bene così. Il mio pranzo: insalata di mare (ma credo mi abbiano portato il misto mare) e totani ripieni (tra i piatti del giorno). Calice di bianco fermo (credo Colli di Luni, Vermentino; sul punto è mancata un po’ di comunicazione).
Le due pietanze mi sono piaciute. Non particolarmente curata la presentazione, ma è una trattoria. Menzione per il ripieno dei totani davvero compatto, equilibrato. Ha valorizzato il piatto.
Dolce: Tiramisu. Appena servito il cameriere mi avverte: “Tiramisu alla genovese!”. Io sono genovese e non ho mai sentito nulla di simile, anche perché il Tiramisu é veneziano.... Svelato l’arcano: al posto dei Savoiardi c’è la Focaccia secca!
Un trionfo di gusto al palato. Mi ha ricordato il sapore della Focaccia (genovese, naturalmente) affogata nel caffellatte di quando ero bambino (poi ho smesso di bere il latte...).
Una piacevolissima sorpresa.
Caffè, acqua e grappa morbida barricata (ero in compagnia).
Personale cortese, sorridente anche se un poco distratto (ripetizione e mancata comprensione delle ordinazioni; ripensamenti - c’è/non c’è).
Location piccola, pulita, a tratti un pelo eccessiva in decorazioni (la rete da pesca, il timone con alcuni pioli rotti... due adesivi di una squadra di calcio cittadina - per di più antagonista a quella da me tifata - decisamente evitabili), ma fa folklore.
L’ubicazione non è purtroppo un punto forte; in compenso c’è facilità di parcheggio.
Prezzi adeguati alla qualità proposta che resta alta, comunque non elevati.
Ci tornerò volentieri.

Typical fish cuisine. Let's start with that: it's fresh and they know how to prepare it in its simplicity.
Already good so. My lunch: seafood salad (but I think they brought me the mixed sea) and stuffed squid (among the dishes of the day). Still white wine glass (I think Colli di Luni, Vermentino; on this point there was a bit of communication).
I liked the two dishes. The presentation is not particularly accurate, but it is a trattoria. Mention for the really compact, balanced filling of the squid. He enhanced the dish.
Dessert: Tiramisu. As soon as the waiter is served he warns me: “Tiramisu alla Genovese!”. I am Genoese and I have never heard anything like it, also because the Tiramisu is Venetian .... The mystery revealed: instead of the Savoiardi there is the dry Focaccia!
A triumph of taste on the palate. It reminded me of the taste of Focaccia (Genoese, of course) drowned in latte from when I was a child (then I stopped drinking milk ...).
A very pleasant surprise.
Coffee, water and soft barrique grappa (I was in company).
Friendly staff, smiling even if a little distracted (repetition and lack of understanding of orders; second thoughts - there is / is not).
Small, clean location, at times a bit too much decoration (the fishing net, the rudder with some broken pegs ... two stickers of a city soccer team - moreover antagonistic to the one I support - definitely avoidable), but it makes folklore.
Unfortunately, the location is not a strong point; on the other hand, there is easy parking.
Prices adequate to the proposed quality which remains high, however not high.
I will gladly return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is a hidden gem. The location outside looks a bit shabby. But once inside you enter the nirvana of Italian seafood. The black pasta with seafood ragu is super delicious. The ravioli is devine. Everything we had on the menu was delicious and super fast on the table. They should give the chef a Michelin ?
