 Informal but excellent place, openly minimal waiting times (it was half empty), vegetarian alternatives present.

β β β β β Siamo stati da Scichili questa sera, come sempre grazie allo chef. Il pesce era fantastico Γ¨ la pizza strepitosa. Complimenti anche allo staff.
We went to Scichili tonight, as always thanks to the chef. The fish was fantastic and the pizza was amazing. Congratulations also to the staff.

β β β β β Ottimo posto per degustare un po' di sano street food! Le fritture di pesce sono fresche, preparate in base al pescato giornaliero. Ottimo il tipico pane cunzato, presentato a pagnotta calda come impone la tradizione. Frittura asciutta e per niente pesante. Unica pecca i gatti che ci hanno assaliti mentre mangiavamo nei tavolini fuori.
Great place to taste some healthy street food! Fish fries are fresh, prepared according to the daily catch. The typical cunzato bread is excellent, presented with a warm loaf as tradition dictates. Dry frying and not heavy at all. The only flaw is the cats that attacked us while we ate on the tables outside.

β β β β β Con la famiglia volevamo visitare Scicli e volevamo mangiare qualcosa di tipicamente siciliano. Trovo questa trattoria e prenoto per le 21. Arrivati con un po' di ritardo ci sediamo alle 21:30. Ci hanno servito quasi subito. Tutto eccezionalmente buono. Ho mangiato per la prima volta il Pane Cunzato (spettacolare, da provare!!!!) Poi fritture, tagliolini allo scoglio, arrosto di gamberoni.....che dire....Tutto squisito!!!
Veramente non riesco a capire quelli che postano recensioni negative!!????
With the family we wanted to visit Scicli and we wanted to eat something typically Sicilian. I find this trattoria and book for 9pm. Arriving a little late we sit at 9.30pm. They served us almost immediately. All exceptionally good. I ate for the first time the Pane Cunzato (spectacular, to try !!!!) Then fried, noodles in the rock, roast prawns ..... what about .... All delicious !!!
I really can't understand those who post negative reviews !! ????

β β β β β Il ristorante non Γ¨ male ma ci ha lasciati non del tutto soddisfatti. Partiti benissimo con il pane cunzatu (fatto molto bene) non abbiamo gradito molto la bistecca che - mistero dei misteri - sapeva un po' di... pesce! La salsiccia l'abbiamo trovata genuina ma dal gusto molto 'selvaggio', di bestia, il che non Γ¨ necessariamente un difetto (e difatti alla fine ci Γ¨ piaciuta). Tranquilla la location con i tavolini per la strada. Conto nella media.
The restaurant is not bad but left us not entirely satisfied. Started very well with cunzatu bread (done very well) we didn't like the steak that - mystery of the mysteries - it tasted like ... fish! We found the sausage genuine but with a very 'wild' taste, of a beast, which is not necessarily a defect (and in fact we liked it in the end). Quiet location with tables on the street. Average account.
