Dolci, pezzetti di torte secche casereccie nulla di speciale. A mio avviso trattoria da gustare ed apprezzare il cinghiale con polenta. Traditional, welcoming place. Good tagliolini with wild boar, wild boar with sublime polenta. Normal service. Desserts, small pieces of homemade dry cakes, nothing special. In my opinion, a trattoria to taste and appreciate wild boar with polenta.

Good appetizer (fried cake and salami), good pappardelle with wild boar but very little wild boar. Good house cakes. Price ok.

Piatti abbondanti e personale gentilissimo. Il locale non è dei migliori, ma di solito non bisogna mai giudicare il libro dalla copertina. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought it was better, both reading the reviews and hearing about it. Trattoria sulla strada, informale, con parcheggio sul davanti immerso nel bellissimo paesino di Varano Marchesi. Prenotato e seduti in un tavolo vicino alla stufa a pellet. Non esiste un vero proprio menù, la cameriera ti dice cosa c'è. Abbiamo preso antipasto di torta fritta e salume, composto da salame, coppa e culaccia. Salume ottimo e torta fritta leggera, morbida e non unta. Dopo abbiamo preso un po' di pappardelle di cinghiale da dividere. Dopo siamo passati al VERO piatto forte del locale. Il cinghiale in umido con la polenta. L'inverno chiama questo. Un confort food d'eccellenza in una cornice di tranquillità e gentilezza. Abbiamo preso 3 portate con 2 di polenta. Per concludere un piatto con un misto di torte e poi qualche amaro e caffè. Con 3 bottiglie di vino, 2 di acqua abbiamo speso 28 a testa. Direi un ottimissimo prezzo e abbiamo mangiato bene e tanto. Excellent salami and light fried cake, soft and not greasy. After we took some wild boar pappardelle to divide. After we moved on to the REAL main dish of the place. Stewed wild boar with polenta. Winter calls this. A comfort food of excellence in a setting of tranquility and kindness. We took 3 courses with 2 of polenta. To conclude a dish with a mixture of cakes and then some bitters and coffee. With 3 bottles of wine, 2 of water, we spent 28 each. I would say a very good price and we ate well and a lot. I recommend this place for those who want to eat wild boar at full blast.
