I’d give zero stars if that’d be an option, and that’s all due to indecency of the old lady which apparently owns the place. About 5 years ago I had lunch here and the food was good, and I’d give the food alone 4 stars. I went there to have dinner and despite having an empty table outside and food in kitchen they refused to serve food. I tried another trattoria nearby, which has a higher rating. They’re extremely welcoming and kind and food was great. I encourage you to try that instead: Pane al Pane Vino al Vino.

No cumple con nuestras expectativas mal servicio la comida no era lo que esperabamos de algo “típico” italiano. No volveríamos ni lo recomendaríamos It does not fulfill any of our expectations. Really bad service. Typical italian food? Not way, all pasta from the supermarket. We will not come back here never and would not suggest to anyobody to visit this place. People do not waste your money...

I had dinner in this small restaurant with some friends and I loved it! The atmosphere is very chill, the quality of the dishes is good and the staff is very nice. The restaurant is located in Porta Venezia neighborhood where most of the other places are quite pricey, so I was very pleased to see that it's still possible to find small authentic restaurants, offering good food and honest prices. Here it's possible to have a decent meal spending around 20/25€, something which has become hard to find in Milan. Definitely recommend it, especially if you want to have a taste of Lombardia's cuisine!

Simple, tasty family run restaurant. Large portions. Avoid the interior garden though, it had bursts of a weird smell …

I walked into this place a little after 1pm today and was immediately seated. The male waiter took my order and left bread on the table, and gave me water and wine I ordered. There is an oldish woman who comes around too and when I realized they only spoke Italian I typed a request for balsamic vinegar and olive oil for the lady. She kind of huffed and brought it back as requested but I thought she was a bit hostile. Food like most reviewers said already was fantastic, as was the wine. The one star is just for the somewhat rude female server/proprietor who seemed to act more warmly towards Italian speakers. It’s just a weird situation because this restaurant is extremely close to the central train station area where there are tons of hotels with visiting tourists. If you want a touristy free place (totally understand not wanting your business to morph into a tourist trap avoided by locals) why locate it there? Milan is big city after all. Just odd. Anyway, the lady was a BIT more friendly near the end but never engaged me as she did the Italian customers, but then again I don’t believe she spoke much English so what can you do. At the same time, I have traveled to dozens of countries in Europe and Asia and have engaged biz owners and workers who don’t speak a lick of English. If you want to be friendly there are ways to be friendly or express hospitality. This lady was plain not interested. So if you don’t speak Italian, and if you’re looking for good , local Milanese, affordably priced food, and if you can withstand mildly unfriendly servers, then this is a solid spot. The food saves this place.

The pumpkin ravioli here had me going mhmm every bite, wow. The meat and polenta were good but not impressive. Interesting chocolate dessert, but not my favourite.
