ancient thatched oven, forgotten flavors, bread and pizza to scream. We are in Orsara di Puglia one of the jewels of Daunia, a generous and harsh land, land of ancient peasant traditions that vivaddio are still present. We come here on Sunday morning and after having walked around the picturesque streets of the ancient village, we stop at Pane e Salute between cobbled streets and ancient buildings. This place is really worth a visit.

Beautiful tasting experience of local products, with an exceptional toasted bread and pizza topped. Few tables right in the center of Orsara, you have to book, very correct price

Bread and lots of love An experience in taste, in the authenticity of the past. Pre-established menu based on bread, vegetables and Apulian tradition. Puglia little known especially by the Apulians. Two rooms with an antique oven, a lot of sympathy from the owner and employees. You eat divinely, a lot, from appetizers to desserts, ending with a revisited canary that helps you go out a little lighter ... so to speak. Recommended for those who love authenticity in all senses.

I was in this fantastic place with my family and a couple of friends and our girls. Everything was perfect right from the booking stage. The place is really an ancient oven with the production of homemade bread and an adjoining pizzeria with fantastic products. The venue has few seats. We ate perfectly, tasting the typical Apulian products and quite exceptional local products. The owners are very helpful and polite. Perfect from the starters to the end. The only flaw I could find is serving the courses one after the other, but that doesn't change my review. It is necessary to park near the Madonna della Neve church. After lunch or dinner take a walk in Orsara, super beautiful.

500 years old and the focaccia was transcendent . Plus meeting the owner and baker was an honor and they treated us like we were special

My mother and father are from Orsara so when we went to Italy this past spring I had to visit there. We found Pane e Salute while walking through the town. We thought we would have a pizza but got a 16 course meal instead. It was like having my mom cooking for me again. All the food was great.

The 4 of us went there thinking we were only going to eat pizza. 15 dishes later we finally had to stop. Our server said we hadn't been served the pasta yet! We took the sauce and meatballs home. Fabulous traditional dishes from this town and region. The white beans with wild fennel was amazing.
