Personale gentile e premuroso in un ambiente accogliente, nel centro di Carmagnola. For the second year I have booked for the bagna cauda, served with local vegetables, both cooked and raw. Kind and attentive staff in a welcoming environment in the center of Carmagnola.

a	andrea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'aspetto esterno sembra moderno poi... appena si varca la cassa si viene proiettati come attraverso un varco spaziotemporale, in una trattoria medioevale, 2 tavoli in ferro battuto con scuri di un eccezionale effetto "romanico". La cantina é di buona fattura, io personalmente ho assaggiato un Nebiolo con un passaggio minimo di legno che é quasi impercettibile. Il colore del piatto mi ha fatto molto piacere (lo vedete in foto), trovo importante quanto il buon cibo il buon impiattamento e il colore. Tre antipasti armonici nel gusto, come primo una pasta ripiena con zucca e spezie, quando lo chef mi ha parlato di cannella mi sono spaventato (la cannella nel cibo salato é di difficile gestione) poi... al palato ha invece, fresco, e... Sorpresa, non ha coperto né la zucca né il ripieno... Infine la torta di fichi... Semplicemente eccezionale, alla vista dello zucchero sulla crosta ero titubante in quanto lo zucchero non lo amo, invece... Equilibrio totale, i fichi si sentono presenti come frutto e non sono assolutamente disturbati dalla crosta zuccherina. Bravi, era la prima volta che mangiavo li. Complimenti. The external appearance seems modern then ... as soon as you cross the cash desk you are projected as if through a space-time passage, in a medieval restaurant, 2 wrought iron tables with shutters of an exceptional "Romanesque" effect. The cellar is well made, I personally have tasted a Nebiolo with a minimum passage of wood that is almost imperceptible. The color of the dish made me very happy (you can see it in the photo), I find it as important as good food, good dish and color. Three appetizers harmonious in taste, first a pasta stuffed with pumpkin and spices, when the chef told me about cinnamon I was scared (cinnamon in salty food is difficult to manage) then ... on the palate it is fresh, and ... Surprise, it didn't cover the pumpkin or the filling ... Finally the fig cake ... Simply exceptional, at the sight of the sugar on the crust I was hesitant as I don't love sugar, instead ... Total balance , figs feel present as a fruit and are absolutely not disturbed by the sugary crust. Well done, it was the first time I ate there. Compliments.
