★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family run trattoria that seems to live of locals and tourists taking the Opinina-Trieste tram (the stop is almost directly opposite the trattoria). Food is a limited range and not particularly nice. Service is friendly, but very slow, which does not help if you need to catch the tram. Upon paying, the change was - ooopsi - wrong (they owed 3 EUR and gave 2,50 EUR in three coins - can you make it any more obvious?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good rustic place, with truly home made 'carsolino' food, mainly meat. Try the goulash gnocchi or tagliatelle, and definitely get a 'pasta crema' for dessert. People who like it (not me) say that Venetian liver (fegato alla veneziana) is very good there. Honest prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even when I was too earlier I got my food very fast. The service was good and the food as well. The restaurant is very close to the street, easy to reach but if you are sitting outside a lot of noise as well.
