A	Adéla Homolová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The expectations were quite high because of 5 stars rating. And we were not dissappointed! All the food was sooo good. It was the freshiest and the best mussels I’ve ever ate. The calamarata with tuna and pistachio was well flavored. The octopus meatballs were real surprise - quite big chunks, not chewy at all! And o my good, the fried calamari and gamberi - also the best. All the food was just amazing (also the wine). And it was my very first time to taste oyster - you definitely have to try it even if you’re scared of (like I was). So good and I think, you can not get more fresh one than here. Also the service was very nice even they don’t speak English. It’s not touristic at all. Music was appropriate, so calming in the busy streets of Sicily. Thank you for everything!

M	Mariana Popa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was perfect, the owner was very nice to us, we arrived a little bit earlier before opening hour, but then he offered us some wine, nuts and biscuits. He presented the menu in a very professional way, the food was very tasty and the price was not so much. We had appetitive, see bass, tuna, wine, casata( dessert), limoncello and amaro for 64 euro. We also got a reduced priced to 60. Definitely a place where to come back, the experience offered and the food is on top level.

The fish is insanely fresh and if you're not familiar with a certain fish Francesco will show it to you before it is cooked so you have an idea. We went here 3 different times during our stay in Ortigia and every time there were different fish available to try. Go to this place for real Italian hospitality, fantastic fish (definitely try the raw fish plate, it will change your life), and delicious desserts. The wine is also very reasonably priced so order yourself a bottle of catarratto and enjoy your night.

Came here because of the high rating in Google, and left the restaurant with a full stomach and a happy heart!! :) - Love the freshness of all the seafood, especially the raw seafood platter! - Tuna steak - cooked and seasoned perfectly. My personal favorite - Fried fish - hot & crispy!! - Our server was really attentive, observant and detail-minded. She is the delight of our dining experience :) We are really glad to have picked this restaurant out of all choices!! Thank you Francesco for your hospitality, highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Francesco, the owner was one who spoke English and he did the great job talking to all english speaking guests and and taking their orders. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well -nice and clean place, with good space between tables. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very average, not better than from the grocery store, and not what we had expected from so highly rated place. I feel sorry for those who think that this is the “best food in Siracusa”… sorry but it is not. Additionally, the portions are on the small side. For 3 people having the appetizer “a sample plate for sharing” that supposed to be enough for 2-3 people, 2 pasta dishes, plus one fish entree, and 2 desserts were hardly enough. The bottle of the Sicilian white wine was very good.
