★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very good restaurant and very familiar service. we went with our small son and had a very good lunch. the caponata is superb and after trying a few in noto we noticed that not all restaurants are sicilian. well this one is!
next time we will go there for sure.

Food quality = 2 (pasta was heavily oily and shrimps were sandy)
Price = 2-3 (normal for Sicily but way too high compared what you pay for an equivalent pasta e.g. in Munich)

The food is simple and pure Sicilian country food, for example a dish of a wild leaf we couldn't find the English for, superb caponata and an equally superb rabbit ragù. Ada who does 'front of house' is very talkative and utterly charming, her husband a gifted cook. A lovely place to eat.

Gnocchi gorgonzola and Pistacchio were amazing. Staff is super nice and explains the origin of every dish.
