Vino della casa ottimo. Buonissima la selvaggina, da provare il cervo con polenta e le tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale. Prezzi nella media. Three of us dined at this family-run restaurant. Il gestore, da buon oste, ci ha messi a nostro agio e ci ha proposto ottimi piatti nostrani come tagliatelle con ragù di cinghiale e casoncelli al brasato, cervo e polenta allo Zola. Tutto ottimo, ben saporito, insomma, perfetto! È la prima volta che ci andiamo ma diventerà di sicuro un nostro punto di riferimento in val Verzasca. Ciò che abbiamo trovato valeva la lunga distanza (i miei genitori sono della zona, ma io vivo a Milano) e il brutto tempo (pioveva e faceva freddo).. Tutto perfetto! Struttura e locali tenuti in buna maniera, io ho mangiato in veranda, che aveva anche uno scorcio panoramico sulle cime del territorio varesino. Ho scelto i casoncelli con salsiccia e funghi porcini; il piatto era abbondante e di buona qualità, i funghi non risultavano pesanti, pasta e sugo erano ottimi. Gli altri che si sono fermati con me hanno ordinato un tagliere di salumi, che a loro detta poteva avere più scelta e delle trofie al pesto. I prezzi sono in linea e il personale (suppongo il titolare) è cortese e disponibile. Insomma lo consiglio per chi viene a visitare la Valganna e il territorio italiano del lago di Lugano.
