★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skip this place... service was nonexistent, waited 20 mins to be seated with having a reservation and plenty of empty tables. We ended up leaving and found a fantastic place on Piazza Saminiati. Much better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location to eat, would be even better with an English menu or at least waitresses which could translate the menu. Managed to figure it out by myself as most of the restaurants serve similar food, but i think an english menu is just little effort to make for all the tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally I avoid restaurants in the main square, but Trattoria del Castello is an exception! Go for the dish of the day and if you are lucky ask for Fiori di Zucca, you will experience something sublime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to have a lunch in the sun. Do remember to reserve a table, it fills up quickly.
Everything was delicious, especially the two bao variants: very interesting fusion dishes, I particularly liked the squid one.
Romanella wine complemented our meal nicely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I shared a delicious traditional Italian meal under the moon and the stars and the most amazing view of the castle. It was cold outside but the fire burners and blankets meant we were all very comfortable and cozy. The warmth of the fires was only bettered by the warmth of the welcome and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you! My family and I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than 5 stars! Fresh pasta and delicious fresh seafood. Local fish from the lake as well as special varieties. Reasonable prices for the food and great house wine for 8€/1L. Amazing atmosphere looking at the castle and friendly staff. They also helped translating the menu in English and gave good recommendations.
Fully recommend this place!
