Il baccalà mantecato cremoso e bilanciato nel sapore, equilibrato quello in umido e le trippe alla parmigiana sono certamente i cavalli di battaglia ma tutto il resto non sfigura affatto, anzi. Prezzo giusto Old-fashioned trattoria in furnishings and management and with genuine cuisine, very good and generous portions. Creamy creamed cod with balanced flavor, balanced stewed cod and tripe alla parmigiana are certainly the workhorses but all the rest does not look bad at all, quite the contrary. Fair price

Il baccalà è fenomenale, la polenta giusta di sale, di consistenza e temperatura, la trippa si scioglie in bocca e i contorni completano i piatti in modo semplice ma gustoso. Era da una vita che non trovavo patate lesse col prezzemolo in un menu... Che delizia! Per non parlare dei dolci: uno strudel fantastico, tiepido, dalla pasta perfetta e con il giusto grado di dolcezza. Non perdetevi questa cucina casalinga di altissimo livello. Superconsigliato! A restaurant like there are few around. Simple, rustic, with few frills and an essential menu, but when you start eating ... The cod is phenomenal, the right polenta of salt, consistency and temperature, the tripe melts in the mouth and the side dishes complete the dishes in a way simple but tasty. It had been a lifetime since I hadn't found boiled potatoes with parsley on a menu ... What a delight! Not to mention the desserts: a fantastic strudel, warm, with a perfect dough and the right degree of sweetness. Do not miss this home cooking of the highest standard. Super recommended!

Non è stato un caso abbiamo letto le recensioni e abbiamo prenotato “una settimana prima” … domenica a pranzo ci può stare… Comunque ottima trattoria con prodotti tipici, semplici e veramente buoni. Non lasciatevi ingannare dall’antipasto in foto di “semplice cotto col cren”, non è per niente semplice, si tratta del mitico cotto triestino che è qualcosa di fantastico. Per non parlare del baccalà degno di nota e del gulasch tenerissimo e gustoso. Insomma se saremo ancora di passaggio ci torneremo sicuramente… consigliatissimo!!! It was no coincidence that we read the reviews and booked “a week before”… Sunday for lunch we can stay there… Anyway, an excellent restaurant with typical, simple and really good products. Do not be fooled by the starter in the photo of "simple cooked with horseradish", it is not at all simple, it is the legendary Trieste terracotta which is something fantastic. Not to mention the noteworthy cod and the tender and tasty goulash. In short, if we are still passing through we will definitely be back ... highly recommended !!!
