La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è stata la gentilezza di chi ha risposto al telefono per prendere la prenotazione telefonica..non mi è mai capitato di sentire tanto entusiasmo e riconoscenza verso un potenziale cliente. La gentilezza non è finta…. Lo si capisce.. Il locale è un po’ fuori Cervignano, arredato in modo semplice e informale con il menù scritto a matita.. C’è un’ampia scelta di piatti semplici ma non banali. Tutto a base di prodotti locali. Vino sfuso. Servizio fin troppo veloce. Prezzo adeguato. I had never been to this home restaurant run by two sisters. The first thing that struck me was the kindness of those who answered the phone to take the telephone booking .. I have never felt so much enthusiasm and gratitude towards a potential customer. Kindness is not fake…. Of course ... The restaurant is a little out of Cervignano, furnished in a simple and informal way with the menu written in pencil .. There is a wide choice of simple but not trivial dishes. All based on local products. Bulk wine. Too fast service. Appropriate price.

Piatti curati ed estremamente buoni, dagli antipasti ai dolci tutto ha superato le nostre aspettative! Consiglio vivamente di assaggiare i kifeletti in saor, una vera delizia. Homely and welcoming atmosphere. Inclusive menu with vegetarian options, handwritten: an added value, synonymous with quality. Well-finished and extremely good dishes, from appetizers to desserts, everything exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend trying the kifeletti in saor, a real treat.

I have a soft spot for their Primi and Desserts, but always end up eating a four course meal anyway. Not very expensive and extremely good value for money.

I would highly recomme the large sweet/savoury gnocchi with plums (susine) when they have it. The menu always changes, keeping it exciting. The service is great and very friendly.
