I tempi cambiano e loro fanno bene quel che possono per mantenere la tradizione. Bravi!! Arrived by chance and immediately bewitched, perhaps the most authentic restaurant I have ever tried in Lombardy. Times change and they do what they can to keep the tradition well. Well done !!

Preparano bottine fritte, cioè pesciolini di sorgente e rane fritte. Unica pecca i prezzi, un po' alti, soprattutto gli antipasti. Trattoria, immersed in the Pavia countryside. Genuine and seasonal food. Spartan but friendly service. We eat outdoors. They prepare fried bottine, that is, small spring fish and fried frogs. The only flaw are the prices, a bit high, especially the appetizers.

Dopo 40 anni sono riuscito a rimangiare le rane fatte come dio comanda!! I gestori cordiali e simpaticissimi, soprattutto la mamma. Prezzi nella norma, magari un pò caro ma si paga volentieri. Assolutamente consigliato. Discovery of a classic family restaurant in the Lombard countryside. Menu with typical dishes and cooked with skill as well as with high quality ingredients. After 40 years I managed to take back the frogs made as god commands !! The friendly and very nice managers, especially the mother. Prices in the standard, maybe a little expensive but you will be happy to pay. Absolutely recommended.

Antipasto misto povero 4 fette di salumi sott'olio contati e 2 fettine di cotechino 15 euro!porzione di patatine una decina 5 euro. carne al brasato 2 fettine 10 euro!!assurdo o si fa la trattoria con piatti abbondanti e prezzi adeguati o si fa ristorante con servizio adeguato e non fare montagne di piatti accumulati sul tavolo e struttura degli anni 80 fatiscente e dir poco!chi dice che si mangia bene secondo me non capisce una mazza di mangiare!in sintesi 70 euro a coppia per una miseria cosi con un quarto di vino e 2 bottiglie d'acqua è assurdo!!complimenti anche x il modo di rispondere da vero signore del tipo che fa i conteggi un vero campione di di umiltà simpatia e accoglienza!! I am not sure whether they can speak English, but if you are around there, it is worth your while trying: the "deep fried fresh water little fish" and the mixed Antipasti is quite tasty as well. Go there on a spring evening and sit on the patio! The place holds some sort of old fashioned melancholy which makes it full of charm.
