I’ve been there last week and I had the starter with cured meat (must in Bologna) and gelato al formaggio, ravioletti, cotoletta alla bolognese and zuppa inglese.
Cured meat and ravioletti would be top choice in most of the restaurant in the Uk, where I live, although the cotoletta was the truly spectacular one, hands down the best I’ve ever had. Also the zuppa inglese was something incredible, super tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice trattoria in Bologna??? We went out for dinner and really enjoyed the typical local dishes, such as antipasti da Bolognese D.O.C. or prima di Grigliare. We also had pasta which was delicious, specially the p.p.p 2022 (Tortelloni ripieni di salame rosa with peas sauce and acid cream ?) If you love pasta you must try them.
It is advisable to make a reservation since it gets really busy for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was booked up for most of our stay in Bologna but managed to book a table for our final night!
We were definitely pleased we chose here for our last night. The restaurant was lovely and the food delicious. The staff were friendly too.
We had the crescentine with cured meats which was a nice selection and good portion.
Tagliatelle al Ragu was tasty.
We tried the Zuppa Inglese for dessert which was very interesting!
It’s located slightly out of the way of the centre but definitely worth going to!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Creative dishes, classics with twists, really helpful staff, everything was delicious. The trio of cheese ice cream with fig jam was an excellent accompaniment to the whole meal as suggested!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to taste the true Italian cusine in a true countryside Italian atmosphere, this is the place to go. The menu is perfectly balanced and expertly cooked, the wine selection is also great. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for lunch on a weekend day with a friend. An Italian friend of mine who lived here recommended this restaurant above all in bologna (also it won a cooking competition show in Italy which I didn’t know until we arrived in bologna). We had a reservation at 1230 and before they opened there was a line outside of people waiting to get in.
When we entered they checked green pass and we were seated. The staff was nice and there were about 3 waiters running around taking care of all of the tables.
The food was excellent. I recommend the tortellini and the ragù, also the pork cheek was amazing.
Whole experience was good. At the end I think the staff was getting overwhelmed a bit and they forget to bring us caffè we ordered so we just left. But it is Italy you can get caffe everywhere. You pay at the front desk with the woman working there and it was an easy in and out.
I would return. The food was too good not to.
