β β β β β Simple local food done very well with good portions and at very reasonable prices, friendly welcome. Great after a chilly winter walk in the Carso. We will definitely be back.

β β β β β Nice place to dine for all but in particular who work at Elettra. The village of Bazovissa is last Italian settlement at border with Slovenia. Being part of EU this border is open border though there are frequent police patrols to check the flow of illegal immigrants coming through infamous Balkan route. The village itself is static in time and that makes it so beautiful and peaceful even the presence of Elettra at the doors have not changed anything so far. So Bazovissa is proud host of all the people who come to work at Elettra and the places like this offer you a window into Italy with food and style.
