★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been there for about 2 weeks, mostly dinner... Both the ambient and taste are delicious... The only drawback is that service can be slow in rush hour but this is so normal in Italy. Because, in my opinion, the cook(s) care customers and do not hurry up...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place with the Best Service. If you can, come before the locals or the place is filled to the last seat. Pizza is super delicious out of the original stone oven. Appetizers are magnificently well prepared. Dinner was so good I can ignore the - with Italian standards - mediocre espresso.

Very rude waitstaff. Portions too big.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, family-own restaurant. The food is traditional but with daily variations in the menu, very well cooked and presented. Good beers and some local wines.
The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and friendly. It's worthy of a stop during a dayly hike or a journey and also it is an excellent choice for a (high quality) business or work meal.
Returning regularly over the year allows you to enjoy the seasonal variations in the menu.
It is connected to the Center Hotel, a good alternative to downtown hotels when travelling through Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with a lot of choice, the menu is in Italian, English and Slovenian. They support card payment. There are a lot of locals as well as people visiting the hotel, moreover the staff does speak English to a certain extent - good enough for communication. The pizza is made in the traditional brick oven. The prices are reasonable and what you could expect from Italian restaurant. The pizza choices are all for 'normali' pizza size (no maxi). They offer take away options, but if you want to eat there I recommend going there early or reserving a table at night. My personal experience with the pizza is one of the best I had, wish it was just a little bit bigger.
