★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima cena composta da risotto con le rane, risotto con il pestume e risotto con il pesin, che merita la lode; tutte materie prime locali. Abbiamo continuato con un po' di rane fritte, un po' di anguilla fritta e un po' di polenta con il luccio. Sorbetto, acqua, vino bianco frizzante in caraffa e caffè. Euro 42. La sig.ra Laura che gestisce il locale da 37 anni ci ha ringraziati per la simpatia. Partita con il calcio balilla prima di salutare. Grazie Laura, alla prossima. P.S. un saluto al simpatico gruppo di ex giovani regbisti veneziani che hanno cenato vicini a noi.
 Excellent dinner consisting of risotto with frogs, risotto with pestume and risotto with pesin, which deserves praise; all local raw materials. We continued with some fried frogs, some fried eel and some polenta with pike. Sorbet, water, sparkling white wine in carafe and coffee. Euro 42. Ms Laura, who has been running the restaurant for 37 years, thanked us for her sympathy. Game with table football before saying goodbye. Thanks Laura, see you next time. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cucina tipica della bassa veronese. Prezzi modici. Buona qualità. Da provare il risotto al pessin (risotto con pesciolini di risaia fritti) e i tortelli di zucca. Personale cortese.
Typical cuisine of the lower Verona area. Moderate prices. Good quality. Try the pessin risotto (risotto with fried paddy fish) and pumpkin tortelli. Friendly staff.

A volte il pescino e i gamberi sono di mare (salibrici e latterini), a volte d'acqua dolce secondo tradizione (misto di alborelle, pseudorasbore, scardoline, carassini...). Nel complesso si mangia sempre discretamente, con porzioni abbondanti e il prezzo è più che proporzionato.
Quality of dishes and service slightly variable depending on the day. Sometimes the pescino and the prawns are of sea (salibrici and latterini), sometimes freshwater according to tradition (mixture of alborelle, pseudorasbore, scardoline, carassini ...). Overall you always eat fairly well, with generous portions and the price is more than proportionate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima volta che andavo in questa trattoria,servizio molto lento,pagato 4 primi anziche' 3 e non mi e' mai capitato di pagare un primo risotto con le rane 13,33 euro, ovvero 40 euro per 3 piatti.SIcuramente da rivedere.
First time I went to this restaurant, very slow service, paid for 4 first courses instead of 3 and I have never paid for a first risotto with frogs 13.33 euros, or 40 euros for 3 dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non ci è mai capitato di essere "accolti" con tanta cafonaggine. Alla vista del cane la signora esordisce con "Dica." Senza un sorriso o un "Buon giorno".
Neanche il tempo di chiedere se il cane poteva entrare o dire che avevamo prenotato la cara signora continua: "Il cane in sala no eh!". Per concludere, quando comunichiamo la nostra intenzione di disdire la prenotazione, non ci chiedono neanche a che nome fosse e ci dicono: "Va bene" con il sorriso di chi palesemente non aveva voglia di lavorare.
E così mi sento di sconsigliare fortemente questo ristorante in cui non tornerò mai più.
We have never been "greeted" with so much boorishness. At the sight of the dog the lady begins with "Dica." Without a smile or a "Good morning".
Not even the time to ask if the dog could enter or say that we had booked the dear lady continues: "The dog in the room no eh!". To conclude, when we communicate our intention to cancel the reservation, they don't even ask us what name it was and they tell us: "Okay" with the smile of someone who clearly didn't want to work.
And so I strongly advise against this restaurant which I will never go back to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo nella terra del riso al confine tra le province di Verona e Mantova. Locale molto rustico, che presenta una cucina del territorio, molto attenta alla tradizione. Da prova assolutamente i risotti, in particolare quello con il pesin. Nel menù si trova anche il pesce gatto e l'anguilla ma sono piatti per me troppo estremi. Nota dolente i dolci purtoppo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Da provare.
We are in the land of rice on the border between the provinces of Verona and Mantua. Very rustic restaurant, which presents a local cuisine, very attentive to tradition. Absolutely try the risottos, especially the one with pesin. Catfish and eel are also on the menu, but they are too extreme for me. Sore point the desserts unfortunately.
