★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto intimo, purtroppo impossibile per disabilii, nel cuore storico della Città. Non ordini nulla, mangi e basta ! Ti arrivano ottime polpette di melanzane e fantastiche polpette di pesce. Poi, in centro tavola, arriva l'insalata di polipo con patate prezzemolate, la pepata di cozze, il tagliere di formaggi e salumi di Calabria, gli spaghetti alle alici, la frittura di pesce e, se c'è posto nello stomaco, arriva anche altro, il tutto accompagnato da un fiume di vino bianco che, Marco e Matteo, fanno vinificare appositamente con tre uvaggi locali. Conto proporzionato e palato soddisfatto. Conviene prenotare.
Intimate place, unfortunately impossible for the disabled, in the historic heart of the city. Don't order anything, just eat! You get excellent eggplant balls and fantastic fish balls. Then, in the center of the table, comes the octopus salad with parsley potatoes, the mussel pepper, the cheese and salami chopping board from Calabria, the spaghetti with anchovies, the fried fish and, if there is room in the stomach, it arrives also other, all accompanied by a river of white wine that, Marco and Matteo, make wine specially made with three local grapes. Proportionate account and satisfied palate. It's worth booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi era una bellissima giornata, solo ieri di passaggio ho visto questo locale in pieno centro storico. Stamattina eravamo diretti in altro comune in un posto in cui, oltre alla calca che non gradisco, ci hanno negato il tavolo fuori (20 gradi!) Mi ricordo dunque della “Trattoria Capone” e chiamo, otteniamo il nostro tavolo fuori e passiamo un piacevole momento del pasto come se fossimo su un terrazzo di nostra proprietà. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo e piatti abbondanti, onestà nel dichiarare le disponibilità di materie prime. Consigliato!
Today was a beautiful day, only yesterday in passing I saw this place in the historic center. This morning we were headed to another town in a place where, in addition to the crowd that I do not like, they denied us the table outside (20 degrees!) So I remember the "Trattoria Capone" and I call, we get our table outside and have a pleasant meal time as if we were on a terrace of our property. Good value for money and abundant dishes, honesty in declaring the availability of raw materials. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When in town I happily go as often as I can! I love the atmosphere, the local feel and the overall experience. Make sure to ask the owner Matteo what he recommends, as they get all their locally supplied ingredients daily -so you can’t just rely on their menu. As far as I’m concerned this is the best place to eat in town if you’re looking for a slice of truly local experience.

The food is always fresh and cooked in the traditional way, It's family owned, and run by a father and a son, who truly enhance the whole experience. Their spaghetti with clams are to die for, and so is the fried calamari. Highly recommended!!!!
