Wir sprechen kein Italienisch, haben uns trotzdem verständigen können und ein sehr leckeres Menu bekommen.
Spezialität in Bronte: Produkte aus Pistazien, daher bestellten wir Bruschetta mit Pistaziencreme und Fleisch mit Pistaziensoße, Kartoffeln und Salat. Alles sehr frisch und lecker ?
Highly recommended trattoria, with friendly and helpful boss and staff.
We don't speak Italian, but we were still able to communicate and got a very tasty menu.
Specialty in Bronte: products made from pistachios, so we ordered bruschetta with pistachio cream and meat with pistachio sauce, potatoes and salad. Everything very fresh and tasty ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small, family run restaurant, in a nice little Italian village. This place was quite chaotic, with the children fetching groceries and constantly running into the kitchen.
We had some special selections, available only during the Bronte Pistachio festival and we were quite pleased. Just be ready for very slow and chaotic service (they came back after 20 minutes to inform us they had no potatoes). Some portions (like the mixed meat, which only had 2 types) were too small for the price.
We enjoyed our visit to Trattoria Conti.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my girlfriend were just happy with antipasti (cheese plate with pistachio bruschetta) but the taste of penne with mushroom (for me) and the taste of penne with pistachio (for her) were disappointing. Not special just regular! And the price for them plus 1 lt mineral water was 31 euro!!
The city was itself really fake and just tourist hunter!!! Be careful!!! If you are in Catania, just go to Savia Pasticceria! You will find real taste of pistachio…

P.s. my girl friend is Italian and out expectation was high about Bronte because of our good experience in Sicilia

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing pistachio pasta and bruschetta. However, the waiter, who I believe to be the restaurant owner, deserves all the rating stars. Although he hasn’t spoken any word of English, he was truly committed to making our order right. He was very kind and friendly. This place needs more recognition.
