Accoglienza e gentilezza sono il cavallo di battaglia della sorridente proprietaria Irene. Posizione fantastica, abbiamo fatto un aperitivo fuori con vista sull'Etna. Ottima selezione di vini del posto e non. Da tornarci per dormire e per assaggiare i piatti del loro ristorante. We stopped by chance at the Forge of Vulcano. Local at the foot of the volcano, just outside Bronte towards Randazzo. Hospitality and kindness are the workhorse of the smiling owner Irene. Fantastic location, we had an aperitif outside with a view of Etna. Excellent selection of local and non-local wines. To go back to sleep and to taste the dishes of their restaurant.

Non mi soffermo sui dettagli, ma si sconoscono le più elementari regole. Dallarrosto, il famoso maialino dei Nebrodi, che era stinco disossato...dal sapore vago di pollo. Orrendo! Contorno di patate crude che onsapevano di nulla, né al forno,aromatizzate, né bollite. Dolce, anzi torta...asciutta, una specie di ciambellone secco, quasi commestibile. Sconosciute le più elementari regole della cucina e del servizio. Mai più! .crude... I recently attended an event, a lunch. My rating is very bad. The cuisine is very poor, from appetizers to desserts. I strongly advise against it. I don't dwell on the details, but the most elementary rules are unknown. Dallarrosto, the famous Nebrodi pig, which was boneless shank ... with a vague flavor of chicken. Hideous! A side of raw potatoes that tasted like nothing, neither baked, flavored, nor boiled. Sweet, indeed cake ... dry, a kind of dry donut, almost edible. Unknown the most elementary rules of cooking and service. Never again! .crude ...

Absolutely epic location with great view on the Etna, great menu with enough (but not too much) options and above all a fantastic waiter (with excellent English and German) to give us tips and entertainment. And the food was absolutely brilliant — all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
