★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely affordable little restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of touristy Burano. The wait staff were very friendly and quick service. The gnocchi and tiramisu were wonderful! Don’t forget to order yourself a spritz for €3.50!

It is highly recommended to make a reservation to eat in this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasta we had at Trattoria alla Maddalena was very good. But what really made this review a solid five stars is the service. Every restaurant staff was friendly, patient with our basic Italian, and helpful with what dishes to choose. We had the spaghetti with seafood and it was amazing! The pasta was perfectly al dente and there was an abundance of seafood in the dish. Clams, mussels, shrimp, prawns, galore! We enjoyed every single bite! We also had the salted caramel flan and it, too, was delightful. After we walked around Mazzorbo to look at the suspended art, we walked back to the restaurant and asked if we could use their gabinetti before our long vaporetto (water bus) ride home. Even though the restaurant was already closed for the afternoon, they were gracious and accommodating with our one last request. We will definitely go back to this restaurant. Wonderful food and wonderful service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely spot at the seaside on the tiny beautiful island of Mazzorbo. Nicely decorated tables with fresh flower bouquets and Murano glasses on the tables. I recommend to stroll there from Burano, it's only a ten minutes walk through a vineyard. Burano is overrated, too many tourists made the population a bit unfriendly. The waiters at the Trattoria Maddalena are very kind and the seafood is fresh. The prices are reasonable and if you want to spend a peaceful time after the hectic of Venice, take the boat and enjoy the islands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food in a quiet corner. We didn’t make a reservation but managed to get seated after waiting for 30 min. The seafood was really fresh and well flavored, especially the shrimp and squid. The grilled branzino was delicious and the house white wine was amazing. We got the seafood antipasti, the risotto burano, mixed fried fish, grilled branzino and the grilled artichoke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful restaurant, right by the water. Possible to walk from Burrano, boat also stops right before the restaurant! The food is delicious and very well priced, as well as the wine! We had a special fish risotto and enjoyed a beautiful table outside ?? would love to come back one day?
