 All too mediocre. OK home cooking but at least one expects to eat better than at home and it did not happen. Not recommended ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trattoria tipica locale, piatti non abbondanti ma giusti conduzione familiare con il metre di sala sig. Romolo che cura la clientela. Molto frequentato i fine e settimana da clienti abituali bene chi ritorna dai campi da sci. Da provare.
Typical local trattoria, dishes not abundant but right, family-run with the dining room meter Mr. Romolo who takes care of customers. Very popular on weekends and weekends by regulars well those who return from the ski fields. To try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sempre positiva,sono 40 anni che vado in questa trattoria, (i miei genitori ci fecero il pranzo di nozze nel 1960) mangiare genuino non artefatto, semplice come a casa. Il prezzo non è assolutamente caro, è per tutti, dovete provare se siete a Leonessa.
Always positive, I've been going to this restaurant for 40 years, (my parents made us the wedding dinner in 1960) to eat genuine, not artificial, as simple as at home. The price is absolutely not expensive, it is for everyone, you have to try it if you are in Leonessa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il locale - a prima vista- da fuori non si nota, ma dentro sono di un’accoglienza straordinaria. Menù forse limitato ma compensa molto in qualità, abbiamo mangiato benissimo.
Avevo con me il cane e non hanno battuto ciglio, gentilissimi.
(Un dettaglio tenero, ma che fa capire la gestione del ristorante, sono avanzate due ossa: una è andata ad un cagnolino randagio fuori dal ristorante..)
The restaurant - at first glance - is not noticeable from the outside, but inside they are of an extraordinary welcome. Perhaps limited menu but it makes up for a lot in quality, we ate very well.
I had the dog with me and they didn't flinch, very kind.
(A tender detail, but which makes us understand the management of the restaurant, two bones are left over: one went to a stray dog outside the restaurant ..)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una gita a Leonessa e la pura casualità ci hanno fatto conoscere questa Trattoria. Appena si entra si percepisce subito un ambiente familiare, accogliente, non formale. La signora è gentilissima, attenta alle esigenze dei clienti. Ogni tavolo ti aspetta già con una bottiglia di buon sano vino rosso della cantina. Abbiamo preso polenta: buonissima sia nella versione ricca di sugo che con ottimi funghi. A seguire fagioli, abbondanti con cotiche e salsicce. La generosa porzione di torta di mele e uvetta ha concluso un pranzo da ricordare per semplicità, bontà, equilibrio dei sapori. La sapiente cucina tradizionale qui trova la sua migliore espressione. A conclusione del pranzo l'ultima sorpresa: il prezzo assolutamente onesto. Consiglio di provare!! Fidatevi di Angelo
A trip to Leonessa and pure chance made us know this Trattoria. As soon as you enter, you immediately perceive a familiar, welcoming, non-formal environment. The lady is very kind, attentive to customer needs. Each table is already waiting for you with a bottle of good healthy red wine from the cellar. We took polenta: very good both in the version rich in sauce and with excellent mushrooms. Followed by beans, abundant with pork rinds and sausages. The generous portion of apple pie and raisins concluded a lunch to remember for its simplicity, goodness, balance of flavors. The skilful traditional cuisine finds its best expression here. At the end of the lunch the last surprise: the absolutely honest price. I recommend to try !! Trust Angelo
