★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La trattoria al Piron è situata appena fuori dal centro di Gorizia. La cucina è ottima ,il personale gentile e disponibile ,ottimi primi,secondi e dolci?. Personalmente ho apprezzato moltissimo le guancette di maialino al Cabernet Franc e il sorbetto al cucchiaio limone e zenzero
 The trattoria al Piron is located just outside the center of Gorizia. The cuisine is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, excellent first, second and desserts?. Personally I really enjoyed the pork cheeks with Cabernet Franc and the lemon and ginger spoon sorbet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gentilissimo il personale e il titolare! Abbiano cenato con piatti gustosissimi e abbondanti! Prezzo più che onesto, non ho provato i dolci ma la lista è infinita...consigliato! Bello come il personale ti accoglie al tavolo e ti spiega le varie portate nonché come son cucinati i piatti.
Dear staff and owner! We had dinner with delicious and abundant dishes! Price more than fair, I have not tried the desserts but the list is endless ... recommended! Nice how the staff welcomes you at the table and explains the various courses as well as how the dishes are cooked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Gorizia e dintorni per un fine settimana con mia moglie prenoto una cena “Al Piron”. Trattoria tranquilla e minuta, ci facciamo consigliare dalla proprietaria e dalla cameriera. Ci portano burratina con San Daniele, jota, guancetti di maiale al Cabernet con patate in tecia e sfogliatina di vitello al radicchio rosso con rosti. Tutto ottimo e abbondante. Un bell’ amaro tipico per sigillare il tutto e un conto corretto. Complimenti alla proprietaria, se passate da queste parti vi consiglio di fare una sosta.
In Gorizia and surroundings for a weekend with my wife I book a dinner "Al Piron". Quiet and small restaurant, we get advice from the owner and the waitress. They bring us burratina with San Daniele, jota, pork cheeks with Cabernet with potatoes in a tecia and veal sfogliatina with red radicchio with rosti. All excellent and plentiful. A nice typical bitter to seal everything and a correct account. Congratulations to the owner, if you pass by these parts I suggest you take a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piacevole serata in questo ristorantino situato all'entrata di Gorizia e gestito da mamma(ai fornelli) e figlia (sala e sommelier).Attenzione molto professionale alle misure anti covid:controllo green pass e distanziamento dei tavoli. Menu del territorio vario e interessante,ben illustrato dalla figlia con intervento della madre nello spiegare i singoli piatti.Mia moglie ha trovato molto golosi i chifeletti mentre io ho gustato un buon risotto (avrei preferito una varietà di riso più consistente) al prosecco,speck e rosmarino.Particolarmente apprezzata per la sua originalità la sfogliata di vitello gratinata al radicchio rosso e Montasio.Ben eseguito il baccalà con polenta. Per finire altra chicca locale:kuguluff con mirtilli.Buon vino locale e conto adeguato. Consigliato.
Pleasant evening in this restaurant located at the entrance of Gorizia and managed by mother (in the kitchen) and daughter (dining room and sommelier). Very professional attention to anti-covid measures: green pass control and table spacing. Varied and interesting menu of the territory, well illustrated by the daughter with the intervention of the mother in explaining the individual dishes.My wife found the chifeletti very greedy while I enjoyed a good risotto (I would have preferred a more consistent variety of rice) with prosecco, speck and rosemary. Particularly appreciated for its originality the veal sfogliaata au gratin with red radicchio and Montasio. Well done the cod with polenta. Finally, another local gem: kuguluff with blueberries. Good local wine and adequate bill. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di ritorno da una trasferta aziendale ci siamo fermati in questo bel ristorantino. Ci hanno accolto comunque anche se siamo arrivati un po' al limite con gli orari. Devo dire che il Personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile anche nella spiegazione del menu e dei piatti. Abbiamo atteso veramente pochi minuti e ci hanno servito subito. La cucina casareccia è veramente ottima: dai primi si dolci. Tutto veramente molto buono
Returning from a business trip we stopped at this nice little restaurant. They welcomed us anyway even if we got a bit 'to the limit with the times. I must say that the staff was very kind and helpful in explaining the menu and dishes. We waited a few minutes and were served right away. The home cooking is really excellent: from the first to desserts. All very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to a few places as a family of 6. All turned us away despite multiple tables being open. I assume they refused us because we're a large family and COVID forces restrictions on establishments. When we arrived here, I thought we were going to be turned away again. However, there are two women as part of the serving staff and they were super sweet and kind. They moved things around to accommodate our family. The food was fantastic and their service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
