Pozice na březích Adige, kterou udržovala až do roku 1858, v roce, kdy byla dokončena úprava řeky, způsobila, že strážce strážil severní hranici i sklad sloužící poblíž nedalekého říčního přístavu. Dnes je Torre Verde, jehož interiér nelze navštívit, ve výborném stavu a představuje jednu ze symbolických památek města Trento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...ammirando questa Torre Verde a Trento che si trova vicino al Castello del Buonconsiglio...resto stupita dalle ottime condizioni in cui si presenta!!!...dopo tutti questi anni...ancora cosi'!!!...bel punto di riferimento per la città con il suo tetto a cono verde!!!!…la struttura rappresentò uno dei punti strategici della città di Trento!!!...il suo interno non è visitabile ma resta comunque una bel pezzo storico da vedere a Trento!!!...
... admiring this Green Tower in Trento which is located near the Buonconsiglio Castle ... I am amazed by the excellent conditions in which it presents itself !!! ... after all these years ... still like this !!! .. . nice point of reference for the city with its green cone roof !!!! ... the structure represented one of the strategic points of the city of Trento !!! ... its interior cannot be visited but it is still a beautiful historical piece to see in Trento !!! ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica torre in prossimità del castello del Buonconsiglio, penso sìa una torre delle antiche mura che chiudevano la città. Visibile solo dall'esterno, passerebbe un po' inosservata non fosse per il colore verde della cupola. Si ha il tempo di osservarla bene a piedi perché i numerosi semafori pedonali della zona sono molto lunghi.!
