★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im Sarazenenturm Torte Mariello di Navi aus dem 16.Jh. sind Funde(u.a. Anker aus Stein, Mörser, Marmorbecken aus dem 3.J.h.) aus einem römischen Schiff zu sehen. -so steht es in einem Reiseführer von 2003. Ich selbst habe diesem Turm noch nie begehbar gesehen.
 In the Saracen tower cake Mariello di Navi from the 16th century Finds (e.g. stone anchors, mortar, marble basin from the 3rd century) from a Roman ship can be seen. -this is what it says in a guidebook from 2003. I have never seen this tower accessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ bella, ma peccato che chiusa e non accessibile... sarebbe stato intetessante visitarla dentro e magari slaire sopra e poter ammmirare la vista che si presume sia ampia e molto bella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noch eine der unzähligen Verteidigungsannlagen in Kalabrien. Der Torre di Nao ist aber nicht, wie viele andere, normannischen Usprungs, sondern wesentlich jünger. Er stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
Obwohl er angeblich innen und außen renoviert ist, konnte man ihn nicht besichtigen. Es stehen überall noch Bauzäune herum.
Another one of the innumerable defenses in Calabria. The Torre di Nao is not, like many others, of Norman origin, but much younger. It dates from the 16th century.
Although it is said to have been renovated inside and out, it was not open to the public. There are still construction fences around everywhere.
