★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in this amazing place a few weeks ago (March 2018). My fiance' and I absolutely loved everything about it...the building, the room we stayed in, the town, the nearby sites like the castle, and, most especially, the staff. They were so generous, friendly, and accommodating. We are thinking about returning to Ortona and this lovely bed and breakfast for our wedding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner Remo and his family were very friendly and helpful. Remo took time out of his own day to drive us out the the Moro River War Cemetery to visit the grave of my uncle killed in Ortona in the 2nd World War in the battle of Ortona and we will never forget that kindness. The room was fabulous and the largest we had in a 5 week tour of Italy and overlooked the sea. The location was excellent for visiting the old castle overlooking the sea and to visit the church of St. Thomas plus the downtown core. Grazie Mille Remo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No need to stay anywhere else. A charming stone building in-between the castle and the relics of St Thomas. From the balcony you can see the Adriatic and snow on the mountains. The staff is very knowledgeable about many Abruzzo wines and there are several wine bars around the corner. Pablo, the k-9 concierge, was great with the kids and the homemade treats at breakfast were delicious, especially the chocolate chip loaf.
