★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella piazzetta adiacente alla chiesa di S. Michele (detta anticamente firriatu di S. Micheli) si trova la torre campanaria costruita nel 1550 dalla Confraternita di S. Michele.La struttura è a base quadrata con mura spesse oltre i due metri,dalle nude superficie e con una sola finestra a sud.Questa costruzione così possente lascia pensare ad un opera di difesa eretta nel XIV sec. per avvistamenti di incursioni di navi pirati o turchi.Sulla torre vi sono tre campane la più grande fù fusa nel 1587 e pesa 1760 Kg e reca la seguente scrittura: "Piango i morti,respingo i fulmini,chiamo i vivi".
In the small square adjacent to the church of S. Michele (formerly known as S. Micheli firriatu) is the bell tower built in 1550 by the Confraternity of S. Michele. The structure has a square base with walls thicker than two meters, with bare surfaces and with only one window to the south. This construction, so powerful, suggests a work of defense erected in the 14th century. for sightings of raids by pirate or Turkish ships. On the tower there are three bells the largest fù fused in 1587 and weighs 1760 kg and bears the following writing: "I cry the dead, I reject the lightning, I call the living".
