E comunque è sicuramente meno impattante di tanti mostri di cemento che ci sono nella nostra bella Follonica.. One of the symbols of Follonica, you may not like it but probably not even a Follonichese would recognize our city from the sea without the blue tower .. And in any case it is certainly less impactful than the many concrete monsters that are in our beautiful Follonica ..

All'epoca della sua costruzione era l'edificio più alto di tutta la Toscana. The symbolic skyscraper of Follonica, called Torre Azzurra, was built in the 1960s. With its 22 floors it dominates the Gulf of Follonica. At the time of its construction it was the tallest building in all of Tuscany.

Dagli appartamenti si gode di una vista spettacolare... a sinistra si vede Punta Ala, a destra si vede Piombino e davanti si vede L'Isola d'Elba!!! ...ci sono gli ascensori per salire e scendere, c'è la portineria. In ogni piano ci sono 4 appartamenti ed i piani sono 21!!! ?? Every time I go to Follonica I can't help but go to Piazza XXV APRILE where the Blue Tower is! It is imposing and dominates the gulf! From the apartments you can enjoy a spectacular view ... on the left you see Punta Ala, on the right you see Piombino and in front you see L'Isola d'Elba !!! ... there are elevators for getting on and off, there is a concierge. On each floor there are 4 apartments and the floors are 21 !!! ??

L'edificio tra il 2021 e l'inizio del 2022 è stato oggetto di un restyling delle facciate, riportate al suo colore identificativo e necessario a causa dell'usura del tempo, degli agenti atmosferici e della salsedine.
