Per me sono persone da LICENZIARE....!!! I called for a simple information twice at 7:15 pm and 7:20 pm on August 6 at the Dini & Miele ticket office in Piombino, an employee was very rude but very very rude to say the least ..... she told me: "Don't you hear the news on television?" For me they are people to be dismissed .... !!!

Online zahlt man - meiner Erfahrung nach - mehr und man ist nicht so flexibel wie beim Kauf vor Ort. An den vier o. fünf Verkaufshäusschen lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall die Preise zu vergleichen! Tickets für Hin- & Rückfahrt sind günstiger, vor allem ein Rückfahrt-Ticket von Elba (z. B. Portoferraio) nach Piombino ist ziemlich teuer. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. The sales staff is always friendly and some speak German. Best option to book tickets for the ferry to Elba and back. In my experience, you pay more online and you are not as flexible as when buying on-site. It is definitely worth comparing the prices at the four or five sales houses! Round-trip tickets are cheaper, especially a return ticket from Elba (e.g. Portoferraio) to Piombino is quite expensive. Definitely recommended.

Nel viaggio di ritorno mare un po' mosso, ma con la Vincenzo Bellini (traghetto più piccolo) non abbiamo sentito disagio. Grazie mille I found myself very well. Clean environment, well organized entry and exit of cars, friendly staff and compliance with anti Covid regulations. On the return trip the sea was a bit rough, but with the Vincenzo Bellini (smaller ferry) we didn't feel any discomfort. A thousand thanks

Sonst alles gut geklappt, hatten Iced Coffee zum Kaufen, lecker :) In der Nebensaison (Anfang Sept.) angenehm leer. A bit expensive: 2 people (without car, only people) to Elba & back: approx. 55 €! Otherwise everything went well, had Iced Coffee to buy, delicious :) In the off-season (beginning of September) pleasantly empty.
