★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Mausoleo dei Rabiri è la ricostruzione, eseguita da Luigi Canina, di una tomba a forma di ara del I secolo d.C. , nella quale è incorporato il calco (l'originale è al Museo di Palazzo Massimo alle Terme) di un rilievo raffigurante i busti con le iscrizioni funebri di Usia Prima sacerdotessa di Iside (sulla destra, con accanto un umbone solare, simbolo di culto egizio) del I secolo d.C., e di due liberti (C.Rabirius Hermodorus e di sua moglie Rabiria Demaris) di un certo Rabirio Postumo (banchiere e mercante), del I secolo a.C.. L'iscrizione reca la dicitura: C(aius) Rabirius, Post(umi) l(ibertus) Hermodorus; Rabiria Demaris; Usia Prima, sac(erdos) Isidis, che vuol dire: Caio Rabirio Hermodoro, liberto di Postumo; Rabiria Demaris; Usia Prima, sacerdotessa di Iside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante monumento funebre che riporta, secondo la tipologia allora corrente, probabilmente fine I secolo a.C., i due coniugi, due liberti della "gens Rabiria". Ma in questo caso vi è la particolarità dell'aggiunta (guardando bene si nota la giunzione) nel secolo successivo della figura di una sacerdotessa di Iside, Ursia Prima.
Interesting funerary monument which shows, according to the then current type, probably late I century BC, the two spouses, two freedmen of the "gens Rabiria". But in this case there is the peculiarity of the addition (looking carefully at the junction) in the following century of the figure of a priestess of Isis, Ursia Prima.
