★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiamo per domandare se possono fare scansioni in piano di disegno artistico, e fino a che formato. Il giorno dopo ottengo risposta: sì, fino ad A3+. Porto i disegni per avere un preventivo e sapere se lo scanner che hanno ha risoluzione sufficiente; il formato supportato comunque è A3, non A3+. Mi chiedono di lasciare un disegno solo per fare una scansione di prova, in modo tale da verificare insieme la qualità del file. Dopo due giorni devo telefonare io, per scoprire che hanno fatto la scansione ma non riuscivano a salvarla sulla mia chiavetta; mi dicono di aver fatto due stampe di prova (che non avevo chiesto); non hanno un preventivo da comunicarmi per le altre eventuali scansioni. Torno a ritirare il disegno originale, portando una seconda chiavetta per salvare le scansioni (hanno provato a scansionare anche in bianco e nero, cosa assurda per un carboncino): le due stampe già sono visibilmente oscene. Mi chiedono 15€. Per le prossime scansioni, il preventivo è 20€ l'una. Arrivata a casa, apro le due scansioni in tiff, che confermano l'impressione delle stampe: la qualità è disastrosa, sia per risoluzione sia per bilanciamento. Controllo i dati dei file: la scansione è eseguita a 300dpi. Fossi andata in cartoleria, avrei avuto più fortuna. VERGOGNOSI. Si fa una figura molto migliore se 1) rendendosi conto di aver fatto una scansione inutilizzabile non si chiedono 15€, nè si propone un preventivo quadruplo rispetto ai prezzi di altre tipografie, e magari 2) si risponde da subito "non siamo attrezzati per scansioni di disegno artistico".
I call to ask if they can scan in artistic drawing plane, and up to what size. The next day I get an answer: yes, up to A3 +. I bring the drawings to get a quote and to know if the scanner they have has sufficient resolution; however, the supported format is A3, not A3 +. They ask me to leave a drawing just to do a test scan, in order to check the quality of the file together. After two days I have to call, to find out that they have done the scan but could not save it on my key; they tell me they made two test prints (which I didn't ask for); they do not have a quote to communicate to me for any other scans. I go back to collect the original drawing, bringing a second key to save the scans (they tried to scan in black and white too, which is absurd for a charcoal): the two prints are already visibly obscene. They ask me for € 15. For the next scans, the quote is € 20 each. Arrived at home, I open the two scans in tiff, which confirm the impression of the prints: the quality is disastrous, both for resolution and for balance. Check the file data: the scan is performed at 300dpi. If I had gone to the stationery, I would have been luckier. SHAME. You make a much better impression if 1) realizing that you have made an unusable scan you do not ask for € 15, nor do you propose a quadruple quote compared to the prices of other printers, and maybe 2) you immediately answer "we are not equipped for scans of artistic drawing ".
