β β β β β We stayed at The Trebbiolo Relais for ten days and enjoyed every single one of them. The pool is amazing and the view is absolutely outstanding. Our apartment was nice and cozy but we could wish for some more kitchenware (the hob didn't work properly, the fridge was very small...). It was possible to make a meal but it was a bit challenging though. Also we didn't get our bedsheets or towels changed during the week which was very needed.
The food was okay but a little pricey.
All in all a very good stay!

β β β β β We totally fell in love with this place. The staff is very warm and friendly. The hotel itself is an old manor which breaths the historic past. It is well maintained and the room we stayed in was really beautifull with a nice ceiling fresco. The interior design is tastefull and mixes well with the 'feel' of the historic building. The view into the valley never gets old. I really recommend this hotel!

β β β β β An amazing place to stay near Florence. I would say it's much better to stay here than in Florence center. It's quiet, beutiful and peaceful. The place have a pool with an amazing view. A also recommend to have lunch or dinner here as all the products are local or homegrown. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Fantastic view and a great and relaxing pool area. Very nice restaurant although it is a bit pricey. We enjoyed our stay. We used it as a retreat where we visited Florence at day, and then relaxed at the pool in the afternoon. The rooms were large and simple, but very authentic Italian. Great experience.

β β β β β Have just spent a dream week in this beautiful hotel, set in the middle of the stunning Tuscan countryside surrounded by olive trees. The food was delicious and homemade. They grow their own fruit and vegetables and raise chickens. The location is ideal, it is away from the city noises but only about 30 minutes drive to Florence city centre. The staff was excellent. Jitka, the lovely and resourceful manager could not have been more helpful, always providing an answer to our questions.

β β β β β Pros (the main building):
-big rooms, around 35m^2 and the height - somewhere around 3.5m). It has a big and comfortable bed and the furniture is quite old which makes you feel like you're living in the 17th century. The entire ceiling was painted which amplifies that feeling of living in a castle some hundreds of years ago.
- the breakfast was tasty - with local ingredients, they have some gardens with a lot of fruits and vegetables
- the pool is in a an olive garden and the sunbath chairs were placed under the these olive trees
Cons:
- even the building was old, it should not have been dirty. The room was full of dust, the mini fridge available was so dirty I had to clean for 30 minutes befor using it, they didn't bring us toilet paper and soups, we asked for them twice and received the 2nd time we asked, but anyway the soups were missing. It's a shame they don't take care about this lovely place.
- even the breakfast was good and tasty, it happened something strange regarding it. It was buffet, but the staff served us, we had to stay in line and then ask for what we want and only the staff could fill the plates, we were just asking for the available types of food. This seems to be nice and polite at a first glance, but they were adding some mini quantities on those plates, if you have been asking for ham for instance, they would add a slice of it, at most two and if you asked for more, they felt so uncomfortable to add more, I've never experienced something like this before ! The same thing regarding the water, they didn't let you have an entire bottle - even though you would have finished it - you had to bring a small glass and they would pour you the water so if you wanted to drink ~500-600ml you had to ask 5 times fill up the glass, again .. very uncomfortable. Maybe they didn't let us to take our own food because of the pandemic but why so upset regarding the quantities ?
- the road is quite bad, we have a sport car and it was pretty hard to get to the location
- the dinner was pricey and not so good
- they couldn't speak English, it was very hard to get along with the them. There were 2 ladies which knew a bit of English and could have a short conversation with them, but it was very hard to discuss with any of the other employees.
The room price was not low but also not too high, ~135 euro/night in August (because we have paid our entire stay beforehand, otherwise it would have been more than that). Overall it was a nice experience, a Toscana one, but we were so disappointed about the dirt..we could get over the weird attitude about the breakfast or other uncomfortable things, but not the dirt.
