Buen alojamiento a la entrada de la zona histórico de Cefalú Balcón sobre el Mar. Buena habitación, con baño y pequeña cocina. La playa y el centro histórico a unos pasos. No dan desayuno pero hay locales muy cerca. Un tramo de escaleras bastante empinadas para llegar a la habitación. Wifi en la habitación.

Tiene un balcón sobre el mar muy bonito, pero se accede por un Cortile sucio y oscuro, y unas escaleras muy peligrosas, casi no cabe el pie, y cada escalón es más alto de lo normal. Cuando llegamos para acceder a las escaleras de subida, hay una entrada sucia, estaban con las bombillas fundidas, completamente a oscuras, tuve que llamar para decirlo, cambiaron las bombillas y dejaron la estropeada y la caja tirada en la entrada. Faltan los detalles, y en la web y en las páginas de hoteles que se anuncian deben indicar esto. Yo fui con una muleta y es peligroso, no hubiera ido a este apartamento, si lo hubiera sabido, lo mismo con niños o personas mayores.

L'appartamento si trova nel pieno centro di Cefalù, ottima posizione ma tende a essere rumorosa, sia di giorno che di notte. L'alloggio sarebbe da risistemare, sicuramente le foto caricate online dalla struttura sono vecchie. La finestra del balcone non si apre bene, tocca il pavimento che infatti in quel punto è rovinato, inoltre non c'è modo di oscurarla per la notte e, non essendoci una porta a chiudere la stanza da letto, la luce entra di prima mattina. Il frigorifero è nascosto dietro una specie di libreria che si apre ma anche questa tocca il pavimento rendendo difficile aprirla agevolmente, non a caso il pavimento è rovinato anche in questo punto. La finestra della camera invece affaccia nel cortile da cui si entra ma non ripara bene dal rumore. L'aria condizionata non funzionava bene, non rinfrescava praticamente nulla. Il bagno è molto piccolo e non c'è spazio neanche per appendere un asciugamano, la doccia rimane nella camera da letto anche se l'accesso è dal bagno. L'unica nota positiva è il balconcino che affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia da cui si gode di una bellissima vista e di un tramonto stupendo. La pulizia generale non era delle migliori, sicuramente sono stata in posti molto più puliti. In generale quello che fa la differenza in una casa vacanze sono i dettagli e qui non erano per nulla curati. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è pessimo, costa tanto solo per il balconcino e per la posizione, la casa da sola non vale di certo la spesa.

Great spot for cefalu

Ignore the fake photos - it's a dump. The location is great and so are the views from the balcony. That's where the positive ends. But ignore the glitzy promo photos - they're years old. The apartment was filthy. There was dirt and bread crumbs all over the sink, the floor was covered with dirt and sand, and the overall standard of cleanliness was horrific. The bathroom sink was partially blocked. I phoned the owner and they promised to send out the maintenance guy. I don't know if he ever came - but the sink stayed blocked. The hot water ran out very quickly. I phoned again, I was told that there was only a small heater tank, but the hot water would last for 15-20 minutes. So I timed it. It actually lasted 7 minutes - after being left to heat up all night. 7 minutes for two people to take a shower? I've stayed in rooms all over Europe for 30 years - and I never before had to boil a kettle to have a shave. When booked, the website stated that the apartment had a washing machine. It didn't. This has now mysteriously disappeared from the description. It also still states that the apartment had a microwave. It doesn't.The toilet seat was broken. I checked reviews - this is something guests have been complaining about since 2017.The shower was dirty and there was black mould in all of the corners. Disgusting. All of the metalwork (clothes rack, bidet shower, door hinges, everything) were dirty and covered with rust.The paintwork was dirty and covered with marks. The headboard on the bed was dirty, and covered with scratches and holes. The swing-out cupboard in front of the refrigerator has been nailed together by a blind carpenter using old pieces of IKEA material. It's a joke - it scrapes on the floor, it scrapes on the wall, and it doesn't work properly. This is again something guests have been complaining about since 2017 - and it's so bad that it's actually worn grooves in hard ceramic floor tiles.The refrigerator was also dirty - covered with stains, marks and pieces of debris from the last occupier. None of the doors open properly. They all scrape on the floor. The lights above the bed have been installed using exposed electrical connectors and loose wire. This is illegal - and it's going to kill someone. The top of this area was covered with dust and dead flies. My girlfriend dropped her ring, it rolled under the bed, so we had to move the bed to get the ring back. My God - the dust, fluff and debris under there was half an inch deep. Disgusting. It's obvious that this has never been cleaned. The paint on the outside windows and walls is falling off. They didn't change the towels or bed sheets for 6 days. One towel for 6 days? Are they serious? Also one toilet roll for 6 days. Again - are they serious? There is no curtain or shutters on the big balcony windows. So you'll get woken up every morning at 05.00 by the beautiful Sicily sunlight. But I don't go on holiday to wake up at 05.00. But - the air conditioning is so noisy that it's not possible to sleep anyway. If you set the machine to 'quiet' mode - the inside fan noise stops, but the compressor on the outside makes even more noise than the fan. It's obvious that they have not spent one single cent on maintenance since the first day when the fancy photographs were taken. Calls and mails to complain elicited zero response. Avoid like the plague.
