I went on a saturday night. half the bar had reservation signs on the counter. i mean on the actual bar! im sure if i waited people would have turned up ,took their reserved seats and sipped over a beer for 2 hours then left after getting their authentic Scottish pub experience ?

never manage to get a good table..
Waiters and owners are really unpleasent and unbearable.
Nevertheless original furniture settings give an unique and credible environment feeling.
Food and choice are very good.
The Scotsman got merit of being the first in town too, more than 20 years before all those todays fake trendy pubs..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a pub, it's very good, it doesn't need the tartan wallpaper, sporrans and Stags on the wall but the theme is a good one. I'd be surprised if there are many other places in Italy with both McEwan's and Slalom on draught. I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pub was quiet when I was there. Menu is decent and covers most appetites. The pub is a decent size and has plenty of seating. The food was good and decent selection of beers. I had a few beers and a large burger for less than €30. Can't complain about that especially when coming from Switzerland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two guests, we got there late, by 8.30 PM of a Thursday evening. We arrived just before the pub went full, although there was already a lot of people.
Very nice pub with an authentic Irish feeling, you don't see them often in Italy.
Ordered Beef & Beamish and Meat & ale pie, they both were good, but the pie was delicious. I also drank a Beamish, also good.
Adding water, two delicious cheese cakes, we spent 47 euros.
4 stars because the service was a bit long and we wanted to try fish and chips, but at 8.30 PM it was already finished.
We will be sure to come back trying it.
