Nota per la torta Barozzi, la pasticceria merita una visita sia per l posizione nel centro storico di Vignola, sia per gli altri dolci che propone. Uno in particolare, mi sembra si chiami 'moretto" ma potrei sbagliare, Γ¨ una cialda con marzapane e ricoperta di cioccolato che giustifica da solo la visita.
Known for its Barozzi cake, the pastry shop is worth a visit both for its location in the historic center of Vignola and for the other desserts it offers. One in particular, it seems to me is called 'moretto' but I could be wrong, it is a waffle with marzipan and covered with chocolate that alone justifies the visit.

Pasticceria sita al centro della principale piazzetta di Vignola in cui è conservata segretamente la ricetta della Torta Barozzi, una delle torte più imitate nella zona. Non solo! Tra i prodotti caratteristici della pasticceria vanno citati anche la torta Muratore, la Spognata del Nonno. Il locale, sebbene principalmente strutturato più per la vendita, offre anche servizio bar disponendo di una serie di tavolini all'esterno coperti dai portici. È possibile quindi rilassarsi bevendo un buon caffè e degustando biscottini, crostatine, praline o monoporzioni delle loro torte. Personalmente ho provato la torta Barozzi e quella Muratore. Il filo conduttore delle due creazioni è il medesimo: prodotti altamente burrosi e zuccherini, bombe caloriche esemplari. La torta Barozzi mi ha soddisfatto; gusto particolare ma che tende a stancare se si esagera. La torta Muratore non mi ha colpito ne sul gusto ne tantomeno nelle consistenza. Prezzi onesti
Pastry shop located in the center of the main square of Vignola where the recipe for Torta Barozzi, one of the most imitated cakes in the area, is secretly kept. Not only! Among the characteristic products of the confectionery, the Muratore cake, the Spognata del Nonno, should also be mentioned. The restaurant, although mainly structured more for sale, also offers bar service by having a series of tables outside covered by arcades. It is therefore possible to relax by drinking a good coffee and tasting biscuits, tarts, pralines or single portions of their cakes. Personally I tried the Barozzi cake and the Muratore cake. The common thread of the two creations is the same: highly buttery and sugary products, exemplary calorie bombs. The Barozzi cake satisfied me; particular taste but that tends to tire if you overdo it. The Muratore cake did not impress me either on the taste or in the consistency. Honest prices

Great historical pastry shop, famous for the "torta Barozzi" invented by its founder many years ago. Prices on the steep side.

Old fashioned but nice environment. The Torta Barozzi is a joke... nice but absolutely overpriced. Go there for a good espresso, but avoid the Barozzi cake. I understand the tradition, but the cake itself is a scam, overpriced and with the same taste as a 2euros brownie from Starbucks.

The Barozzi cake made here is by far my favourite dessert, a must to try if you happen to get by Vignola. The pastry is cozy and historical, located in a beautiful setting.
