Prantera, un elogio voglio farlo anche al dott. Romeo persona preparatissima . Il personale infermieristico lavora ininterrottamente e con molta pazienza, per gestire noi pazienti ...e siamo proprio in tanti. Io da mesi vengo a Milazzo, da Palermo , per le terapie che necessitano a mio figlio. Magari avessi trovato un reparto così a Palermo. Grazie Prof.Prantera. From personal experience I can only say that the Ophthalmology department boasts an excellent medical team led by the primary prof. M. Prantera, I also want to praise dr. Romeo very prepared person. The nursing staff works continuously and with a lot of patience, to manage us patients ... and we are really many. For months I have been coming to Milazzo, from Palermo, for the therapies my son needs. I wish I had found such a department in Palermo. Thanks Prof. Prantera.

Dopo giorni di malessere, sospetto di avere Herpes Zoster oftalmico e mi rivolgo al pronto soccorso di Milazzo dove avevo fatto un intervento agli occhi. Mi riceve una giovanie dottoressa la quale conferma Herpes Zoster individuando un antivirale prescrivere subito. Prima di farlo chiama un altro collega, credo fosse il responsabile (basso di statura), che in maniera arrogante e supponente, cambia il piano e mi rimanda a visite specialistiche (oculista e otorino) per il giorno seguente. La mattina dopo effettuo le visite, dopo le quali mi avrebbero finalmente potuto dare la mia cura ed invece, senza ancora nessun farmaco prescritto ed assunto, mi prescrivono per il giorno seguente visita al reparto di malattie infettive a Barcellona. Naturalmente era già lunedì mattina ed anziché perdere altra giornata in ospedale mi rivolgo al medico di base che incredulo (avevo un occhio gonfio ed ormai chiuso) mi prescrive l antivirale. Mia madre sta mattina ha fatto un esame abbastanza invasivo e ha trovato delle persone veramente splendide tra cui il Dottore Bertino e la caposala Tiziana. Meritano senz altro il massimo dei voti. Peccato che l’ospedale di Milazzo sta cadendo a pezzi. Meriterebbe senz altro una ripristinata. Comunque Prendete esempio da dottori del genere. My review is about the Gastroenterology department. This morning my mother did a fairly invasive exam and found some truly wonderful people including Doctor Bertino and head nurse Tiziana. They certainly deserve full marks. Too bad that the Milazzo hospital is falling apart. Certainly deserves a restoration. Anyway Take an example from such doctors.

N	NIMICA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non voglio parlare della bravura dei medici, perché quella è soggettiva (se sei vivo e bravissimo, se muori fa schifo) ma della struttura in se. Piccolo ospedale che accoglie almeno 20 comuni vicini, pochi parcheggi, struttura in declino, interni che risalgono agli anni 80/90, pulizia indegna. È tenuto veramente male anche dai medici stessi. Pronto soccorso imbarazzante. Personale poco e la maggior parte delle volte in contrasto l'uno con l'altro. Un disastro. Le tre stelle per la speranza futura, c'è ancora una piccola lucina all'orizzonte. I do not want to mention the skill of the doctors, because that is subjective (if you are alive, and very good, if you die sucks) but the structure itself. Small hospital that receives at least 20 neighboring municipalities, few parking structure in decline, interiors dating back to the years 80/90, unworthy cleaning. It is really badly kept even by the doctors themselves. Ready embarrassing rescue. Little staff and most of the time in contrast to each other. A disaster. Punto. Il medico di turno, Dott.De Luca non le ha dato nessuna spiegazione. Mia mamma aveva lo stesso dolore di quando è entrata. Allora ho suonato per 2 volte per avere spiegazioni. E mi hanno risposto infastiditi di aspettare il dottore. Come se non fosse un nostro preciso diritto parlarci. Ho aspettato un po ma mia mamma era in macchina con dolore e sono dovuta andare a casa. Perche mi hanno detto che siccome io sono un codice verde e non a rischio vita tutti quelli che avevano assegnato anche un banale codice giallo passavano avanti. Essendo l'unico presidio ospedaliero rimasto in zona è quello di Barcellona pozzo di gotto è stato chiuso, tutti vengono in questo pronto soccorso, come si fa a tenere un solo medico che deve gestire tutto il pronto soccorso? Un signore ha dovuto attendere 2 ore e mezza solo per una firma delle dimissioni altrimenti non gli avrebbero dato la cartella clinica. È semplicemente una porcheria. E se chiami il 112 ti rispondono che ormai non fa più notizia arrivano migliaia di segnalazioni più gravi di questa...... We had to go the nearest hospital. I don’t speak any Italian and most of the people here spoke no English to very little English. This fact compounded with our dangerous health situation made me quite terrified. However the kindness and care I received from the intake staff, the nurses and the doctors put me at ease. Honestly, I may have received better care here than anything in the states. The waits may have been longer than what we were accustomed to in the states but perhaps that is good not to rush a dangerous situation. I’m so glad we stayed the course. Sometimes your heart is so filled with gratitude for a stranger you do not know it is difficult to say anything at all even if you understand the same language. My Doctor, Andrea Mondo, was the best! He was so patient, smart, and really went above and beyond to help me and made me feel at ease. I will never forget their kindness and care in a situation that would have been scary for anyone foreign or not. They deserve awards for the service they provide. I wish Mr. Mondo would be my home doctor. ?❤️‍?❤️?
