★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Negozio vecchio stile ma fornito, proprietario molto disponibile. Da raccomandare in un mondo di modellismo sempre più virtuale, in una città in cui le botteghe del genere stanno scomparendo.
 Old fashioned but well stocked shop, very helpful owner. To be recommended in an increasingly virtual world of modeling, in a city where such workshops are disappearing.

It is a small but well stocked shop. The gentleman who served me was an incredible kindness. These stores are increasingly rare but they are a real blessing compared to online commerce. There have happened by chance, however, recommend a little 'to all of us a jump

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi sono recato presso il negozio di modellismo "Lo Hobbit" per comprare un regalo a mia nipote. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e mi ha saputo consigliare al meglio. Alla fine ho fatto un bel regalo alla mia nipotina che ha gradito moltissimo.
Lo consiglio vivamente anche perché mi risulta che sia uno dei pochi negozi di modellismo rimasti a Firenze.
I went to the "The Hobbit" model shop to buy a gift for my niece. The owner was very kind and gave me the best advice. In the end I made a nice gift to my granddaughter who loved it very much.
I highly recommend it also because I understand that it is one of the few model shops left in Florence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ piccolo tempio del modellismo! piccolo, sì, ma trovi tutto! colori, modelli delle marche migliori e specializzate, per non parlare degli accessori più raffinati. Sono modellista da più di vent'anni e questo è uno dei miei punti chiave in Toscana. Consigliato!
small temple of model building! small, yes, but find everything! colors, models of the best and specialized brands, not to mention the most refined accessories. I have been a model maker for more than twenty years and this is one of my key points in Tuscany. Recommended!
