The Dome Milano | Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

One of the finest rooftops in milan with piazza del dumo view. Food is good but expensive overall.

We visited this place after a quick research on Google. We wanted to have a nice brunch. We called 2 days before for a reservation but no one picked the phone up, so we decided to go there without any reservation. In the entrance they let us go to the rooftop at the 7th floor. There was no one in the reception after there. So we decided to go outside in the terrace. Suddenly the responsible girl in the reception came and shouted “Everything is full!! There is no place without reservation!!!” In the meantime there was no one outside, hardly 2 tables were reserved. We told her that the reception let us come here and we informed them that we don’t have any reservation. The point is that the communication between them is simply awful and the girl on the 7th floor so rude! After explaining her that, she let us wait for 20 min in the bar till she gave us a table at the terrace . We were waiting only for one reason. To taste this cappuccino with the gold leaf which in the end was a simple disappointment. Poor decoration, poor quality of cups. And in the end they cost us 6 € more without any reason for simply sitting over there, the fact that there is not this rule in other places in Milan. I’m giving 2 stars only for the fact that the pancakes I ordered were tasty but the avocado toast with the salmon which was a poor quality with the half of the salmon to be over date. Oh and I forgot the rude behavior of the waitress who was 15 min late to take us an order where the whole terrace was empty… The only time that I didn’t leave any tip and the most wasted money of €46 for 2 cappuccinos, 1 pancake and 1 avocado toast.

ambience and view are the reason i go to the dome , food has variety but sadly very few veg options . i like the portion size and the way its presented .for an experience one visit is a must

Not sure why they charge coperto (service fee) if they provide you 0 service. We came here with friends when the cafe was almost empty - only 2 tables taken. It took more than 20 min to order the food and we managed it only because I eventually asked waiter to come to our table. It took them 40 min (!!!) to prepare drinks - detox water and 2 coffees. But the worst was food - we waited for more than 1h! We wanted to have a quick lunch and go explore Milano but it ended up with rushing to the train station. The waiter didn’t speak English and was quite on her mind. The food was ok, of course not worth the price. And there’s barely one table with Duomo view - all the other tables are facing next building which is under the reconstruction. Big disappointment!

The food was ok but definitely priced highly only due to being near a popular tourist attraction. Has a nice view from the top but that's about it.

Nice Place, with a view directly to duomo, Interieur is super nice too, the whole stuff is friendly and trying their best to have an enjoyable experience at the dome. Besides the nice rooftop bar the restaurant looks amazing too. I’ll come Back for sure :)

Beautiful place with very good service! The place is lovely, the view is amazing and we felt really good to be there! A must visit in Milano!

I booked this expecting a nice experience for our last day in Milan. We arrived to a beautiful location but as soon as we arrived at the rooftop, the member who greeted us by the desk was so rude and snatched our bags off of us. We were sat on a table that was right in the sun, we asked if we could please move to a table in some shade. This didn’t see to be a problem for them. We ordered our food and it came very quickly. Food was good (pancakes) but not worth €12 in my opinion. The orange juice was very small for €8 as well. Beautiful location for some nice photos but otherwise staff were extremely rude and intimidating and food is a bit overpriced.
